I gave Lisa a look, "Really?"

She smirked, "What? She got that coming for her when she thought that she could trick us!"

Lisa pulled out a knife from nowhere and stabbed it into the counter beside Tala, the woman shutting up immediately when she saw the weapon.

The woman shut her mouth but chose not to say anything this time.

Lisa pulled out her dagger from the counter and gave Tala a pointed look, "You tried to sell two of us into slavery without our consent, did you not? Don't you think that we all deserve some kind of compensation?"

"I... I can pay you!" She cried out desperately, pulling out a small pouch from her sleeve that clinked with the sound of coins.

"Oh, but we don't need money though? And we already know what we want. Isn't this a good deal for you? All you need to do is spend some time with us and we'll forget you tried to kidnap us. Or you know, we could always just kill you in retaliation instead~"

The edge in Lisa's voice told her that she was being serious and Tala gulped audibly.

I guess to be fair... This really was quite a lenient punishment for an illegal slaver that tried to enslave someone like she had. If this happened outside, I would have just killed all of them without a second thought.

She turned to look at the men who tried to threaten us, obviously trying to signal them for help.

Lisa stepped in front of her with a small smile, "Oh? What are you looking at? You wouldn't be trying to call for help now, would you?"

She even brought up her dagger to point the blade at Tala to get her threat across.

I stepped in after her with Delmare still sleeping in my arms, finding that the room was just as I had expected it to be.

It was just a bedroom with an attached bathroom where the walls of the bathroom were made of glass. The bed was, interestingly, two queen sized beds pushed together which was more than big enough for all of us to fit on top of it.

Tala turned to us, "Why... Why don't you go ahead and take a shower first? I'll... I'll prepare myself for you."

I thought Lisa would say something along the lines of having her join us in the shower or even just inviting me into the shower with her. But then the Infrid took a step forward and punched the woman in the gut before she could even react.

I watched with a dumbfounded expression as the woman collapsed onto her knees while clutching her abdomen, making choking noises as she fell.

"Wh... Why?" She gasped.

Lisa shook her hand in the air, "Ouch, ouch... Why is your stomach so hard? Hmm? Did you ask me why? I already told you I'm an alchemist, did you think I would not notice that you are using this?"

She knelt down beside her and rummaged through her clothes until she pulled out a small bottle from her.

"You thought you could mask this sleeping poison with your perfume hmm? How presumptuous of you~ Even after we've given you this chance you still want to go against us? In that case, don't blame us for being a little rough~"

Lisa ignored her and took out a cloth which she dumped the contents of the bottle on.

The woman tried to scurry away from my Infrid when she saw what she did but Lisa grabbed her by the collar and pulled her close, covering Tala's mouth and nose with the cloth that she had soaked with the sleeping poison.

The slaver struggled for a moment before she slowly slumped onto the ground, unconscious.

Lisa then stood up and dusted her hands before turning to me, "Sooo~ I'm feeling a little bit sadistic today, Aster~ How do you want to do her? I was thinking we first tie her up, then I'll feed her some aphrodisiacs and then we can slowly break her~"

I went to set Delamre down on the bed before turning to Lisa who was still planning how we would deal with her.

I pulled her into my embrace and kissed my Infrid on the lips.
