With the fire still ablaze on my sword, I went ahead to hit the shield with it.

When the blade hit the shield, a patch of black flames was left at where the sword had hit the shield and it started burning the light construct like it was made of some flammable material.

Even as I watched, the fire burned through the shield relatively quickly and it took less than fifteen seconds before the entire shield was consumed by the flames, leaving nothing behind.

I made Eins summon another one and did the same thing, watching as the fire started burning the shield when I smacked it with the sword again.

But this time, right as half of the shield had been consumed by the fire, I willed the fire to stop and it immediately disappeared.

Ok, looks like I really can control it... So here goes nothing!

I touched the blade that was still on fire with my hand.
