My Shadow Guards returned with all the loot they managed to gather from killing all those Monsters and Monster Girls.
"That's... A lot of Mana Crystals..." I muttered, looking at the large pile of them that reached up to my knees in height.
By my estimate, there should be at least a few thousand of those rocks in there.
Just how many Monsters and Monster Girls did they even kill?
I turned to Verdam who was also staring at the pile of loot in front of us, "Do you want any of this? Since you did say that you need to use a lot of Mana Crystals to create those Monster Girls."
He looked at me in surprise, "You're... Giving them to me?"
I puffed my cheeks, "Not all of it. Just a portion of it."
"That's already more than I can ask for! If you don't mind... I'll take whatever you're offering!"
Well, it's not like I have a lack of them anyway. I still have a lot of Mana Crystals which I sometimes use to refill my mana after I summon new Shadow Guards every night before I went to sleep.
What? You think I have too many Shadow Guards?
Please, there's no such thing as 'too many' Shadow Guards.
Besides... This was also a way for me to train my magic so there was literally no reason for me not to do that.
Anyway, I decided to just give him half of it and he took those Mana Crystals away gleefully.
Aside from the Mana Crystals, it seems like I've also received a few Monster Girl Stones.
Compared to the pile of Mana Crystals from earlier, this pile was way more pathetic in number and it didn't even reach up to the back of my hand in height if I were to put my palm on the table.
There were only a handful of them but it seems like there's quite a number of different variations for this stone.
Thus, I had to pull Verdam back here to explain them to me.
Sure, I could just use [Screened] for it but might as well make this guy work for it instead.
"Oh, you got quite a good haul it seems. Then again, you did clear out the entire Dungeon so I guess that's not surprising you got this much... Let's see here..."
He starts separating the stones into different piles which I assume was according to what their effects were.
I also noticed that they were different colours with them being red, blue and yellow with the red pile being the most numerous and the yellow pile being the least.
He quickly typed in a few more lines into the notes before scratching his head, "Yeah... Damn... I really need to consider all the different references... Should I allow the Monster Girls to like... I dunno, ultra evolve or something?"
"We already have player interference don't we? I don't think that's necessary..."
"Right, right... I'll probably put a limit on the tier of magic and in the case of someone with no magic... allow items to be used..."
I looked up at him, "That means you can also include specific items to be dropped in your Dungeon like recovery items so you can limit what kind of items can be used."
"Oh shit, you're a genius! Yeah, let's do that!"
I heard Mother giggle behind me and I didn't even need to look to know she was saying something like "as expected of my little one" or something along those lines.
He continued, "Speaking about the Monster Girls... The sad thing is that I'll have to scrap that since that function would have allowed all kinds of Monster Girls to spawn throughout the Dungeon which wouldn't work in this one..."
"Eh? Why? Can't you just duplicate it for each floor and just adjust the setting of it from there? Like maybe add in some kind of rule for it that only certain Monster Girls can spawn there or just leave it as it is on floors that you want free reign?"
"You know, at this point I think you might as well be the Dungeon Master. Is there like a function where I can assign a secondary Dungeon Master or something?"
I just rolled my eyes at him.
He finished typing to look at me again and this time I shrugged, "That's pretty much what I have at the moment."
"Right... I guess I know of the perfect payment for your help in this! Seriously, if you weren't here to help me with this, I'd probably still be stuck making all those mistakes so I won't take no for answer for this!"
He shut off the window and pointed at the blue Monster Girl Stones, which reminded me that I haven't gotten an explanation for the others yet.
"Just so that you know, these blue ones are the Great Monster Girl Stones. This one has a hundred percent capture rate but only if the Monster Girl has consented to it otherwise it's still at fifty percent. Instead of two hours, it will now be twelve hours that the Monster Girl can stay outside of the stone."
He moved on to the yellow one and I could sense the smugness radiating off from him.
"And these are the Ultra Monster Girl Stones! A hundred percent capture chance if they consent, eighty percent chance if they don't. And this one allows the Monster Girl to stay outside of the Stone as long as it is supplied with mana so it can be through Mana Crystals or your own Mana!"
Yeah... Gonna be honest, not really useful to me since I already have the Absolute one.
He then waved his hand over it, "Now your payment!"
The piles of Monster Girl Stones suddenly melted into puddles of goop and I thought he was trolling me until they melded together to form a single black stone.
Oh... He just gave me another Absolute Monster Girl Stone.
