Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1009: See You Later

Chapter 1009: See You Later

Eventually, the team reached their goal, the place where most Mortal Demons were born. The new Demon Car had already grown to a good size with a length of over 30 meters. That was more than enough space to accommodate two people. Sebastian had been in contact with the new Demon Car during the entire journey. He was already operating as its Center and mind.

Right now, the three of them stood near the second Demon Car, which was still inside the first Demon Car. Star Genesis was double-checking her materials. During the journey, she had asked Kyle to conjure more materials. It would suck if they desperately needed a Formation Array while lacking the necessary materials.

"Everything's prepared," Star Genesis said.

Kyle nodded before looking at Sebastian. "You're going to live a normal life as agreed, right?"

"Yep," Sebastian said. "We're slowly going to join the other Demons, take our time while growing, and slowly travel towards the west. We will stay on this latitude, but our longitude will change. At most, we're going to veer a couple of million kilometers north and south. Keep in mind that we're not going to actively search for you. If you need something, you have to come look for us."

"Sounds good," Kyle answered. "I will try to check in every couple of millennia, but I can't promise anything. We still don't know how the stronger parts of the Abyss operate. I'm going to be focusing on my power, which means I might be in seclusion for a long time."

"We understand," Star Genesis said. "We're going to investigate the Elemental Dimension while trying to find some way to circumvent the Formation Arrays."

Kyle nodded but didn't say anything else.

For some seconds, the three of them just looked at each other.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye," Sebastian said with a deep breath. "Kyle, I really hope you will succeed. We've invested a lot in this entire thing, and I think we have the best chance out of all the teams that came before us. Honestly, if we fail, it would have been impossible from the very beginning."

"But keep in mind, you're our ace in the hole. We've bet everything on you. No pressure, but if you fail, quadrillions of humans will suffer for all of eternity."

Kyle snorted. "Yeah, thanks for that."

Sebastian chuckled a bit. Naturally, while this had been the truth, it was actually meant as a joke.

"Kyle, I wish you all the best," Star Genesis said. "I know things have been a bit strange between us lately, but since this might be the last time I'll see you, I want to say..."

"I forgive you," she said. "The Kyle I've met is very different from the current you. You've become dependable and trustworthy. I'm over this entire betrayal incident."

"Thanks," Kyle said with a smile and a sigh. "I'm glad to hear it. I wish I could spend more time with you in a casual setting, but that has to wait until we're out of Ayuvar."

Star Genesis also smiled, her genuine smile brightening the atmosphere. "I wish for the same thing. If we get through this, maybe we'll get the opportunity."

Sebastian just awkwardly looked around as Star Genesis and Kyle looked at each other.

"That eager to go?" Kyle asked with a smirk, throwing a glance at Sebastian.

"Yep," Sebastian confirmed. "I don't wanna see your ugly face anymore."

Kyle just laughed. "Then, get inside your new car. You're going to be born in ten seconds."

"Gross, did you have to put it like that?" Sebastian asked as he went into the new Demon Car.

Star Genesis and Kyle threw one last glance at each other.

"See you," Kyle said quietly.

"Until next time," Star Genesis answered with a small smile.

Then, she also entered the new Demon Car. The "door" closed, and Kyle threw one last glance at the new Demon Car before going back to the normal room. He didn't want to stay in the uterus for longer than necessary.

In the outside world, a huge hole appeared in the Demon Car's body, and within just two seconds, the second Demon Car was squeezed out. The second Demon Car hit the ground, stood up, and charged into the distance. Divine Beasts could fight as soon as they were born. The second Demon Car was technically a human, but Sebastian could make up for the lack of inherent power.

For a moment, Kyle looked at the second Demon Car before focusing on the Karmic Lines of his own Demon Car. Since it had its own Spirit, it also had its own Karmic Lines.

There were some tiny Karmic Lines, but there was also one huge Karmic Line. This was the line between the two Demon Cars. Parents and children had a strong Karmic Connection.

Since Kyle could still sense the second Demon Car, the Karmic Line directly led to it, but if they couldn't sense each other anymore, the Karmic Line would randomly fuse with space. Kyle wouldn't be able to track the second Demon Car's location with the Karmic Line, but he could keep track of something more important.

Its life.

'As long as this line is here, they're still alive.'

Kyle imagined the feeling he would feel if that line vanished and sighed.

'Don't focus on distant eventualities,' he thought, pulling his mind back to the matter at hand. 'The plan is somewhat proceeding as expected. Everything's set up.'

'Now, I just need to travel to the east and find some good Law Wells.'

The Demon Car started its journey to the east, and after some time, the second Demon Car vanished.

For the first time in many years, Kyle was completely alone again. He couldn't even contact his friends anymore since the relay required Kyle to be outside the Demon Car, which he couldn't do.

'Can't contact my friends anymore. I can't even contact any humans, and Demons are most likely not the best conversation partners. I'm actually alone,' Kyle thought. 'In the past, I might have preferred this, but after talking so much with everyone for such a long time, I feel a bit melancholic.'

'Yeah, well, whatcha gonna do?' Kyle thought with a shrug. 'I should just stop being a pussy and focus on my goals.'

'First, I should get the remaining Level Four Laws. Since I have an Affinity for every Element, comprehending the other Level Four Laws shouldn't take a long time.'

Years passed as Kyle traveled towards the east. During his travels, the Demon Car became more powerful. Technically, it was a human, but due to its weird existence, it lacked the things humans needed to advance. For example, it didn't have Clusters.

Luckily, it also counted as an Elemental, and those could grow easily.

Over the journey, the Demon Car's composition had already changed. Instead of being made of the Yang-Elements, it was now made of the Minor Elements. Sadly, that was as far as it could go for now. Kyle didn't know all of the Gravity Elements, which locked the Demon Car's power to the Peak Primal Realm. If he could comprehend the remaining Gravity Elements, he could push the Demon Car to the Peak Compression Realm.

A couple of years before Kyle reached his goal, he did a regular checkup on his Karmic Lines. Usually, this was just something Kyle did subconsciously, but this time, he was doing it consciously.

After all, he had noticed something.

The Karmic Line leading to Manny...

It was an intense mix of black and red.

A mix of emotional hatred and negative Karmic Luck.

'What's going on?' Kyle thought in shock.
