Chapter 2602: Trent Marsh’s Farewell
Chapter 2602: Trent Marsh’s Farewell
"Retreat!"The martial artists present were initially stunned, but now they fully understood what Nelson meant!
Sword Rain!
Endless Sword Rain!
Who could withstand this!
"Run quickly!"
Everyone scattered, rushing back to their own rooms, relying on the spaces provided by the buildings to start setting up formations for self-preservation.
But what they didn’t know was, why would Nelson destroy his own structures?
The Sword Rain descended madly only upon Trent Marsh’s head!
The Lu family had previously stored a large amount of spirit power in preparation for battle!
This ability could only be mobilized by Nelson.
Now she directly absorbed that spirit power, providing strong support for herself.
When swordsmanship reaches an extreme level of proficiency, not many moves are needed.
The endless Sword Rain is most formidable!
"Hiss..."
Trent Marsh looked above, feeling a chill spread across his back!
He raised the white steel sword in his hand!
A white barrier instantly appeared above him!
Clang, clang, clang!
Sword Qi struck down, hitting the barrier, producing sounds of metal clashing!
Trent Marsh’s face grew increasingly weary!
The Sword Rain was getting heavier, seemingly showing no sign of stopping.
Behind Nelson was the spirit power amassed by the Lu family throughout the southeast!
Whereas Trent Marsh was resisting with only his own spirit power!
What could a battery do against direct current?
After a minute, Trent Marsh was forced to his knees by the pressure of the Sword Qi!
Thud!
His knee directly crushed the marble tile beneath him!
The shield broke!
At this moment, Trent Marsh despaired.
He never thought this day would come.
A woman he never considered significant would defeat him so easily.
"Haha." Trent Marsh let out a burst of laughter and gave up resisting.
Unable to win and accepts defeat with sincerity.
He awaited the moment the endless Sword Rain would shatter him completely, leaving no trace of his body.
Ring, ring!
But just then.
Trent Marsh’s phone rang.
As the ringtone echoed, those Sword Rains about to strike his head...
Suddenly exploded!
Transforming into spiritual energy, gradually dissipating.
Trent Marsh dumbfoundedly raised his head, staring blankly at the sky.
The phone in his hand kept ringing.
Trent Marsh answered the call.
"I don’t want to kill you because I’ve always thought you’re a good person."
Julius Reed’s voice came from the phone.
"I... have lost tragically." Trent Marsh chuckled bitterly, suddenly feeling relieved.
"It’s normal because you underestimated Nelson." Julius Reed’s voice was calm as if everything was expected.
"I don’t believe Nelson can be this strong." Trent Marsh shook his head, maintaining a half-kneeling position.
Sweat dripped from his temples, trickling to the ground.
"Nelson is just Nelson, just like I’m Julius Reed. I can still defeat Silvio Reed! Some things in this world aren’t predetermined from the start." Julius Reed smiled faintly, explaining over the phone: "I couldn’t believe it either, but it happened. Just leave, don’t get involved in martial arts matters anymore."
"But I refuse, I’m not convinced! I don’t believe it! I can’t understand! Why, why!" Trent Marsh shouted in rage, tears streaming: "Why! I am the War God!"
"Everything is just fleeting clouds, isn’t living as an ordinary person good? I’ve even prepared to go fishing and farming."
Julius Reed earnestly said, "Live a peaceful life."
Beep, beep, beep...
The call ended.
Trent Marsh stayed in that position for a full minute.
"Forget it." He slowly stood up, tossed his phone aside, and approached Nelson, "Why didn’t you kill me."
"Because you shouldn’t die." Nelson responded emotionlessly.
"Who says so?" Trent Marsh suddenly laughed, finding the reason very unconvincing.
"He." Nelson sheathed the sword and strode inside the hall.
Leaving Trent Marsh standing there, holding his sword.
"Sometimes, staying alive is the most painful for a person." Trent Marsh laughed wildly, the white steel sword in his hand fell to the ground, producing a clear sound.
"I’ll live as a defeated person! Haha! To kill someone is nothing, but you want to torment my heart!"
He left dispiritedly.
After leaving the Lu estate, Trent Marsh swung his hand sharply!
Whoosh!
All the nearby guards turned into smoke and dust.
"Trent Marsh is dead."
Taking one last look at the Lu estate, Trent Marsh glanced at Nelson’s back, then slowly departed.
No one knew where he would go.
Even he didn’t know.
The world is so vast, yet there’s no place to rest...
"Tell Julius Reed, Silvio Reed may not be dead, and Marcellus Lopez is heading to Demarco Mount!"
Trent Marsh waved his hand towards the Lu estate, leaving.
Inside the hall, Nelson heard these words.
"Trent Marsh said Silvio Reed might not be dead."
She called Julius Reed, "He also said Marcellus Lopez would go to Demarco Mount."
"Are you alright?" Julius Reed didn’t ask about these matters but was concerned about Nelson.
"I’m fine." Nelson suddenly felt warmth in her heart.
"That’s good. I’ll come over as soon as possible. Take care of yourself. Call whenever there’s a problem."
On the plane, Julius Reed hung up the phone, choosing not to speak further.
In half an hour, he would arrive at Demarco Mount.
"This matter is too strange! How could Quella Radcliffe act like this for no reason?"
Lillian Tompson furrowed her brow, "It’s simply impossible!"
"Yes, sister Hiddy already cleared Demarco Mount, capturing anyone with suspicious activities. There shouldn’t be any issues! Moreover, our food is all prepared by our own people." Just finding Julius Reed, Grace River also boarded the plane back to Demarco Mount.
Even Isabella Warm, who was on her way, arrived in vain.
No one expected Julius Reed to return so soon.
Something happened to Quella Radcliffe.
Without warning, they fell unconscious, all vital signs rapidly declining, on the verge of death.
If Hiddy hadn’t been holding the fort, the consequences might have been much worse.
"Who would have thought that the one I considered a confidant at Demarco Mount was Silvio Reed?" Julius Reed leaned against the seat, saying helplessly, "Let’s save Quella Radcliffe first, then discuss other matters."
"Sister Hiddy said not to worry; it’s likely someone deliberately wanted you to return."
Grace River placed a hand on Julius Reed’s shoulder.
"They won’t die."
Dragon Dance simply said three words.
She wasn’t accustomed to seeing other women around Julius Reed.
But she had to accept this reality.
If you like someone, you’re bound to make compromises.
"If that person truly wants him to return, at least they won’t let anyone die too quickly."
After Dragon Dance finished speaking, she said nothing more.
On the plane, silence reigned.
"Trent Marsh said that Silvio Reed might not be dead. I’m starting to believe it. Combined with your hypothesis, I’m starting to waver." Julius Reed said.
"It’s just a guess, but hearing it from you surprised me. If even you couldn’t kill him, can Silvio Reed really die?" Dragon Dance hesitated for a moment. Though she’d always believed he wasn’t dead, hearing Julius Reed say it still made her worried.
"If he isn’t dead, if what happened to Quella Radcliffe is his doing, then I’ll kill him again." Julius Reed laughed.
