"Why are you making this Transmission Device?"

"You know we’re underground, and in a place called the Ridge Mountains. In human terms, it’s a relatively remote place. With this machine, we could later teleport fish from the sea, trees from the forest, and freshwater from lakes. Just imagine how wonderful that would be."

Upon reaching the Gold Hall, many dwarves gathered around, watching the massive machine in the center of the hall. In the eight curved pillars pointing towards the center, there were eight gemstones of different colors embedded; in the middle of these eight pillars was a silver platform hovering half a meter above the ground, which appeared to be entirely made of mithril.
