Chapter 226.4 The Conflict of the Gods
Chapter 226. The Conflict of the Four Gods
Ji Yuan merged with Xiao Tun, transforming into the Great Universe Noah. Light surged from his hands as he mobilized the energy of the universe to stabilize the dimensional channel, creating a stable spacetime tunnel for Zero to reach the Warhammer Universe.
"Zero, are you ready?"
Zero carefully inspected all the equipment, especially the "treasure" he had given to the Four Gods, and nodded firmly: "Senior, I'm ready. Thank you so much for these past few days. Once I open the passage between the two universes, I believe we'll meet again."
"It's nothing, go ahead. Be careful. Remember, all you need to do is deliver the items. Don't do anything yourself. That universe is strange. If you do something in the real world, you might get stuck there."
Ji Yuan repeatedly gave instructions.
"Mission accomplished!"
"I'm so sure," Cyro said confidently.
"Then go ahead, have a safe trip."
With a thought from Ji Yuan, Zero instantly transformed into a beam of light, rapidly advancing along the passage towards the Warhammer universe.
This time, with ample preparation, Zero had time to observe the mysterious passage.
This place is filled with chaotic spacetime turbulence. Without proper coordinates as anchor points, it is easy to travel to the past or future, and it is extremely easy to generate redundant parallel universes and chaotic timelines.
Fortunately, with Tzeentch, the cosmic spy, guiding us this time, such a thing won't happen.
During his journey, Zero did not forget the task Ji Yuan had given him. He used the power within the Spark Tower to stabilize the route, which could be considered as opening up the two universes in another sense.
However, the passage is a little difficult, and it requires sustained transmission power from someone.
Zero could clearly sense that the Spark Tower's energy was being consumed at an increasingly rapid rate, and a distinct resistance was coming from within the universe itself, seemingly not allowing outsiders to enter.
This made him think even more. It was as if the universe had a self-awareness, or that the basic rules of the universe were being manipulated, naturally rejecting outsiders. But the universe where Senior Ji Yuan lived did not have this feeling, which was very strange.
"We'll only know the problem once we reach space. Senior Ji Yuan should be able to see what I'm seeing, so perhaps he has a solution."
In the Warhammer universe, within the warp, three shadowy figures that illuminated the warp pressed down on a region, their undisguised extreme rage palpable throughout the entire warp.
"Tzeentch! Get out here! What kind of garbage plans have you devised? We've been played by Ultraman! If my main body weren't immobilized, I would have killed you! You'll pay the price!"
Khorne, controlling his clone, roared, the sound waves reverberating throughout the entire warp, killing countless Tzeentch followers in the process, and covering Tzeentch's domain.
"Oh, my dear Khorne, don't be so violent."
Tzeentch's clone slowly emerged from the corner; it was a pale-faced human clone with a gentle smile on its face.
"Die!"
Khorne never wastes words. The moment Tzeentch's clone appeared, the energy of the warp burned fiercely like flames, and immense pressure crushed towards Tzeentch.
Tzeentch's figure merely flickered slightly, thus dodging the attack. It turned out that the clone that came out to meet the other Chaos Gods was just a projection of the clone; he didn't even want to use the clone to meet them.
"Hmph! Cowardly maggot! Weaver of lies, you don't even dare to face me in your own form!"
"Come on! Get out of your ever-changing maggot nest! I'll tear you to pieces! You cunning, manipulative bastard!"
Khorne roared, as if he wanted to devour Tyrant.
"Khorne, you know me. I'm not good at communicating with mindless people, nor am I good at solving problems with violence. Instead of getting angry, why don't you think about whether my plan is truly flawed, or if there's a traitor among us?"
Tzeentch gave an elegant bow and began his narration in a gentle manner.
"You deserve to die!"
The tyrannical will swept across every inch of the subspace, attempting to locate Tzeentch's true form.
"Tzeentch, sowing discord? That's an old trick. Don't assume everyone is as idiotic as your followers. Or are you, the god they worship, the most idiotic one? Hehehe—I don't think you're the weaver of fate or the master of all changes. You should be called the god of idiocy, the garbage living in the ancient past."
Slaanesh spoke slowly and deliberately, each syllable stirring the deepest emotions and bringing unimaginable pleasure.
"Oh, Slaanesh, you beast consumed by emotions, I never said who betrayed us, so why are you jumping out so eagerly? Or did you betray us at the last minute? Did that Ultraman sense something was wrong beforehand? And that's why he attacked us? After all, you were the one who went to communicate, so you're the prime suspect."
Tzeentch retorted slowly and deliberately, his tone so relaxed he was almost asleep.
"Heh, my dear Tzeentch, you're incredibly stubborn. Do you think we're all fools? Didn't we sense the power fluctuations you had before your clones destroyed? Damn multifaceted wretch, you wouldn't be thinking of bringing that Ultraman into our universe, would you? You've got some ideas."
Slaanesh's confident answer, before his clone was destroyed, made his aura, belonging to Tzeentch, seem like a pile of excrement in a delicious meal—so conspicuous, yet so foul.
"Heh." Tzeentch looked at him like he was a fool. "I'm not that stupid. How can you be sure that's me? And not another imposter? Or maybe Ultraman? I don't need to tell you about his disguise abilities, you all know that."
"You piece of shit, Tzeentch, come out and fight! I will tear every part of you apart, crush every one of your followers, and utterly destroy them in endless battles!"
Khorne was still as volatile as ever, his chaotic energy surging as he continued to search for Tzeentch's true location, or even just an avatar. To communicate with him through a projection was nothing short of blasphemy and degradation to the gods.
"Alright, stop with the pointless talk. I'm too lazy to argue with you about who betrayed whom. Now that we're back in our own universe, it's time to honor our previous agreement."
The corrupting father, Nurgle, spoke slowly, saying that he preferred to spread endless life and plague, bringing beauty to reality, rather than argue with the three.
"You shouldn't shortchange Tzeentch on what you're owed. Regardless of who betrays whom in the end, our covenant is being honored. You must give us our due, unless you want to witness the three Chaos Gods uniting against you and taking over your land."
Treachery chuckled: "What if—I say no? What can you do to me then?"
