Chapter 59 Lady Tsunade, We Uchiha Have Never Been Good People
"What's the problem?" Kakashi asked in return.
He thought the plan was quite reasonable.
"This is all problems!" Uchiha Ike rolled his eyes at Kakashi and complained, "You might get the bell by doing this, but you'll be sent to the border as a soldier tomorrow."
"What do you mean?" Kakashi still didn't understand.
"Just like I said before, snatching the bell is just a testing method." Kurenai Yuhi said thoughtfully, "This is not a written test with standard answers, but an interview with subjective judgment by Lady Tsunade. If she says you fail, then you fail."
"In other words, if she is not satisfied with our 'answer sheet,' it will be useless even if we get a hundred bells."
As Yuhi Kurenai spoke, she suddenly realized what was happening and felt a chill run down her spine.
How could Lady Tsunade possibly be satisfied with using someone else's psychological trauma to achieve her goals?
She was almost led astray by Kakashi!
Uchiha Ike nodded in agreement:
"Using underhanded tactics to exploit the opponent's psychological weaknesses is a fine way to use them against enemies, but using them on villagers is going too far."
"This is even worse than drugging the proctor just to peek at a classmate's answers."
The three of them will probably get more than one beating, and afterwards they'll be sent back to the ninja academy to relive their student days.
"This..." Kakashi hesitated, frowning as he said, "She's a top-tier Jonin, she shouldn't mind, right?"
Uchiha Ike was slightly taken aback.
He immediately recalled the scene that night when Tsunade asked him, a minor, to pay for her drinks, and then he remembered the few times Tsunade glared at him when they first gathered.
He shook his head, his lips twitching, and said, "Hard to say."
"Kakashi," Kurenai Yuhi reminded him, "Girls tend to hold grudges."
A hint of confusion flashed in Kakashi's eyes as he looked at Tsunade in the distance: "Is she even considered a girl?"
Kurenai Yuhi stared at Kakashi speechlessly.
"...Just those words of yours will stay with her for many years."
Compared to his ninja skills, Kakashi's emotional intelligence is indeed a little low.
Kakashi frowned and pondered for a while, but still couldn't understand Kurenai's words, so he simply stopped thinking about it and turned to look at Uchiha Ike.
"If we don't use this method, I can't think of any other way."
The air froze instantly, and the three of them fell silent once again.
Until Uchiha Ike spoke.
"Hey." He raised his index finger to his temple, pointing to the setting sun overhead, and said with a smile, "I have a new idea."

The setting sun receded through the forest like a receding tide.
Tsunade sat on the wooden chair brought by the sealing scroll, and as time passed, more and more empty wine bottles piled up on the wooden stake.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, she cradled her delicate, flushed cheeks and let out a small yawn.
"Ha...it's about time to head back."
She stretched languidly, her sleeveless white tank top pressing gently inwards, its heavy, soft flesh trembling slightly with the movement.
Those beautiful, half-drunk eyes, like ripples on water, lazily glanced in the direction where the three people had once stood, but now the place was empty.
Tsunade lowered her hand, slowly withdrew her gaze, and nodded silently.
She had assumed that the three temporary students would take advantage of her drunkenness to launch a surprise attack from behind.
She waited all afternoon but didn't sense any gaze directed her way.
They really know how to endure.
Tsunade pursed her lips, which glistened like jelly in the setting sun.
So...
That leaves only two possibilities.
Firstly, his instigation had worked, causing a disagreement between Kakashi and Uchiha Ike, which prevented subsequent actions from proceeding smoothly.
This is the most pointless part; you'll have to put in a lot of effort to build trust between them later, which is very troublesome.
Secondly, they did not fight amongst themselves. After thinking it over, they chose to lie in wait on her way back to the village, setting up many traps along her route, ready to make a desperate move the moment she stepped into one.
Taking action when the target is most relaxed and vigilant is not a bad strategy.
It's not that I can't play with them for a while.
So, how do you feign complete ignorance...?
Tsunade lazily got up from her chair, comfortably squinted her eyes, and stretched her body while recalling the facial expression management techniques she had learned many years ago.
Just as she was preparing to collect all the wine on the wooden stake into the sealing scroll.
A clear, melodious voice rang out from the forest.
"Lady Tsunade, are we going back?"
Tsunade paused slightly, turning to look at the source of the sound.
In the dim shadows of the forest, a figure appeared and disappeared.
Uchiha Ike walked over step by step, the warm yellow light flowing across his face, making his features appear even more delicate.
He stood in front of Tsunade when he reached the open space.
Tsunade stared blankly at the boy in front of her. The breeze made his black hair particularly messy, but his eyes remained clear and bright.
A few seconds later.
"Where are the other two?" Tsunade looked at Uchiha Ike with amusement. "Why did you come alone?"
Uchiha Ike gave a wry smile, spread his hands, and said, "It's all because of Lady Tsunade."
"Oh?" Tsunade's voice held a hint of curiosity. "Because of me?"
"Yes." Uchiha Ike nodded and explained, "Your divisive tactics successfully caused our team to fall apart. Kakashi and I disagreed, and he directly refused my cooperation."
"That's none of my business," Tsunade said with a grin, waving her hand. Then she asked, "Where's Kurenai Yuhi? Why wasn't she with you?"
"She's closer to Kakashi."
Uchiha Ike said casually, but Tsunade was speechless upon hearing it.
She suddenly remembered that Uchiha Ike had mentioned that he didn't have many friends.
Perhaps before today, Uchiha Ike had been hoping to get along well with his teammates?
Just as she began to struggle with whether she had ruined the other person's wish, Uchiha Ike's voice suddenly interrupted her thoughts.
"I wonder where they are now..." Uchiha Ike pondered, "However, I guess they're lying in ambush on your way back, since this is probably their last chance."
Tsunade was slightly taken aback, then her eyes turned somewhat unfriendly.
"Hey, you Uchiha brat, isn't this basically betraying your teammates?"
"No," Uchiha Ike shook his head and said calmly, "I've always believed that communication between people should be equal. Since they don't acknowledge me, why should I consider them teammates?"
As he spoke, Uchiha Ike slowly opened his other hand, his expression utterly sincere in the glow of the setting sun:
"Lady Tsunade, we Uchiha have never been good people."
