Chapter 93 The Destroyer Arrives!
Chapter 93 The Destroyer Arrives!
"Look what you've done! How dare you ruin my plans!"
Loki's face turned green as he looked at Laufey's body, which had been dismembered into eight pieces.
His carefully planned scheme was completely ruined by Qin Wuying.
The opportunity to make a good impression on the Empress Dowager was gone.
To make matters worse, Heimdall just told him that the Warriors of Asgard have escaped to Midgard.
You should know that those four people were all Thor's good friends, and were newcomers who were promoted with Thor's help.
If they reach the mortal realm, they will surely find Thor and tell him the truth about Odin's slumber.
In that case, Thor would inevitably return to Asgard to take revenge on him.
No, I absolutely cannot let my brother, who is exceptionally strong, return and compete with me for the throne.
"I'll settle the score with you later; there are more important things to do right now."
Loki shook Gungnir, the spear of eternity, in his hand, and the Destroyer robot began to rumble and start operating.
Immediately afterwards, Loki began to call out Heimdall's name.
"You're going to use the Rainbow Bridge to move this giant thing to Earth, right?"
Qin Wuying stared coldly at Loki in front of him and guessed his intentions in a second.
After all, there was an identical operation in the MCU universe.
Loki had no interest in getting entangled with Qin Wuying here; he was only focused on killing his brother.
"Whoosh—!" A rainbow-colored beam of light appeared from the distant horizon.
Heimdall, summoned by Loki, opened the Bifrost and connected it to the location of the Temple of Jotunheim.
"I'm going first; you can stay here and enjoy the cold."
Loki gave a wicked smile, raised the Spear of Eternity high, and fired a shot at Qin Wuying—
Then a dazzling light enveloped him and the Destroyer.

Meanwhile, on the other side of Earth, Thor is unaware of his brother's plot.
He is still living a leisurely, ordinary life with Jane Foster and Dr. Selvig.
The tranquility was broken when several old friends came to visit.
"Sol, you must try this; its taste is unparalleled."
Jane gently handed her a cup of coffee, which she had spent a lot of money to buy.
Sol took it casually, and while admiring the charming sunshine, leaned back at the table and sipped his coffee.
To be honest, he's gotten used to this kind of life now.
Since Loki came to inform him of his father's death, Thor has been like a different person.
Originally enthusiastic and cheerful, and a little impulsive, he has now learned to control his emotions.
"Thor! Thor! Open the door! We've come for you!"
A few shouts broke the silence, and Thor couldn't help but look out the door, wondering who had disturbed him.
Upon closer inspection, it became clear that these individuals were all dressed in Asgardian clothing.
To an ordinary Earthling, they would probably look like they came from a theater.
“Jane, sometimes I think I haven’t completely let go,” Thor smiled and turned to Jane to explain, “It’s incredible that I saw four of my celestial friends.”
"Uh, Thor?" Jane patted him on the shoulder. "Is it possible that they really are out there?"
Thor was overjoyed when he realized what was happening.
He thought his friends would blame him for his impulsive behavior, but he didn't expect them to still come.
After pushing the door open, the warriors of Asgard joyfully embraced each other.
"Let me introduce you," Saul said, ushering them into the house and acting as the middleman for introducing them.
"They are Van der Lorre, Hogan, Volstagg, and Siff."
Thor turned around again and continued, "These are Dr. Jane and Dr. Selvig, my friends from Midgard."
After settling everyone down, Saul prepared to go to the kitchen to make some coffee to serve his friends.
"Hey! Why do you all look so serious?"
Unexpectedly, it seems that the purpose of the warriors from the Heavenly Palace was not to travel around Earth.
"I am sorry about the passing of my father, Odin."
Seeing their serious expressions, Thor assumed they were there to interrogate him, so he lowered his head.
"What are you talking about? Odin isn't dead at all, he's just in hibernation!"
Sif couldn't hold back any longer and hurriedly revealed the truth: "Your brother Loki is completely lying to you!"
Upon hearing this, Thor was first shocked, then filled with rage.
He only thought Loki was mischievous since childhood, but he never expected that Loki would dare to fool him with the matter of his father's life and death.
"You must return to Asgard and stop Loki's plot!"
Although Sif was unaware of Loki's plans at this time, based on her understanding, she believed it was anything but good.
Thor hesitated for a moment, but then nodded.
"But now that I've lost my divine power, I'm afraid I won't be able to help much even if I go back."
Seeing the once majestic Thor now in such a sorry state, his companions were at a loss for words.
Just as they were about to offer some words of encouragement, screams and chaos erupted from outside.
"What happened? Why is everyone running to the other side of town?"
Dr. Selvig adjusted his highly prescription reading glasses and pressed himself against the window to observe the outside.
Most people were running away in complete disarray, as if they were fleeing from something terrifying.
Thor immediately led the Warriors Four of Asgard out to investigate.
"What's going on? What happened over there?" Thor grabbed a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and asked hurriedly.
"There's a terrifying robot destroying everything in its path!"
The agent looked flustered, hurriedly answered the question, then broke free from Saul's grasp and fled.
The agent's original mission was to monitor Saul's every move here.
In such a critical moment, they couldn't care less about the mission; their only thought was to escape.
"Thor, look! Isn't that...?"
Hogan's mouth dropped open in disbelief.
Following his gaze, one saw a robot, its body hardened and its interior brimming with intense heat—
They are closing in on Thor's position step by step.
"Van der Lorre, Hogan, you go and evacuate the people here; their lives are also important."
"Sif, Volstagg, you stay here and fight the Destroyer with me."
After giving the order, Thor frowned and focused intently.
He understood that this was his cunning younger brother, coming to take his life.
The colossal Destroyer moved in the blink of an eye, gathering energy in what appeared to be its "mouth"—
"Boom—!" A burst of scorching energy erupted, heading straight for Thor's chest!
Having lost his divine powers, Thor instinctively turned his back.
"Don't stand there, get out of the way!"
However, the attack did not kill Thor, nor did it even touch him.
Thor turned around and saw another tall robot blocking his way, with a familiar voice coming from inside.
