"Shouldn't I be the one to say that line?"
"It's too late. I'm the one who has the right to press the switch now." Xiangzi pressed his finger against the main switch. "If the Chuhua team doesn't come soon, they'll miss their chance to save the world."
Chu Hua gently curled the corners of her lips and walked towards Xiangzi.
Unlike when she controls her facial muscles to make a "smiling" expression during performances, she can only genuinely laugh when she is facing Xiangzi.
The two walked towards the parking lot, and Chu Hua put on her baseball cap and sunglasses as she walked.
A white Suzuki Hayabusa was parked in the parking lot.
That was Chu Hua's ride, a custom-made motorcycle designed to match her cool girl image in Sumimi. In Xiangzi's memory, it was a rather expensive motorcycle.
This vehicle is huge and heavy, a real mechanical beast, and difficult for a small girl to handle. However, Chu Hua is a magical girl, and the kind who focuses on physical abilities. She can lift a vehicle with one hand, so the weight of a motorcycle is even less of a problem for her.
Chu Hua straddled the motorcycle, started the engine, turned around to look at Xiangzi, and patted the back seat.
The gesture was as if it were saying, "Come on, come on, sit down quickly."
Xiangzi shook his head and sat in the back seat.
"Are you seated securely?" Chu Hua asked.
Xiangzi nodded from behind.
The white heavy motorcycle slowly drove out of the parking lot, and suddenly accelerated after getting on the road. The wind howled past his ears, and Xiangzi had to hug Chuhua tightly around the waist and bury his face in the soft hair of the golden retriever.
As the car drove along the road, Chu Hua secretly nuzzled Xiang Zi's face with the back of her head, unnoticed by Xiang Zi. Xiang Zi's cheek was pressed against Chu Hua's back as they quietly gazed at the night view of the reed plain.
As May approached, Xiangzi's former customer service company went bankrupt, and the building was facing demolition, forcing her to find another way to make a living.
Even if she stays at Chu Hua's house, she can't be a parasite.
Although the most important thing right now is to figure out the relationship between the witch's barrier in the pine forest and herself, she still needs to find a job and continue her studies. She can't let her world come to a standstill just to investigate a witch's barrier.
That night, Xiangzi didn't have the courage to pull the trigger. After waking up, he lay in Chuhua's house with a hot towel on his forehead. Chuhua was lying on the headboard, exhausted and asleep. Xiangcheng happened to come in carrying a basin of hot water.
Xiangzi knew he was not going to die.
She owes many people and many things.
Whether it's Hatsuka or Kasumi, she will not die so easily before repaying the kindness they showed her.
Time flowed by under the lights of the night.
The heavy motorcycle drove into the underground parking garage of the residential area. The moment Chu Hua brought the motorcycle to a stop, Xiangzi jumped off the back seat, subtly avoiding the camera's capture of his face.
She remembered something.
"Chuhua, I feel it's better if I move out," she said.
"what?"
Chu Hua lost her balance, and the heavy motorcycle almost fell to the ground. Before it hit the ground, Chu Hua nudged it with the back of her foot, saving it from a fall.
More than the car, Chu Hua was concerned about why Xiangzi suddenly said such things.
"Why?!"
"What have you been up to lately...?"
Xiangzi hugged his upper arm and said in a low voice.
"It's just that... I saw some rumors about you online..."
"What...rumored girlfriend...and things like that...not a good thing..."

The Tale of Nirvana: Keeping to Your True Self: Chapter 23 Should I Move Out?
"What...rumored girlfriend...and other such unpleasant things..."
When Chu Hua heard Xiangzi say those words in a slightly shy tone, her first reaction was to be very happy.
My second reaction was that I was very happy!
My third thought was that it would be very troublesome if my agent found out about this.
"Is that so?" Chu Hua said, feigning seriousness. "I didn't know."
"Just because I don't know doesn't mean it doesn't exist." Xiangzi walked into the elevator with the back of his head facing the surveillance camera.
Chu Hua followed behind her.
Inside the elevator, the two stood side by side.
“If living in your house keeps causing bad rumors,” Xiangzi turned his head to look at the floor opposite Chuhua, “I’d better move out.”
"No need, this kind of thing can be handled with a little public relations." Chu Hua shook her head. "It's alright."
"Public relations cost money," Xiangzi said.
"It's not my money that's being used," Chu Hua shrugged.
"What a waste, I could have just moved out."
"The script supervisor's salary isn't enough for you to move out and pay your tuition at the same time."
"..." Xiangzi crossed his arms and thought for a moment, "What about Zhenna? What will she think if she finds out I'm staying at your house?"
"She and I are just colleagues."
"Didn't you two meet in Kamihama? As magical girls. (II) Jiu Er & Yue - Yi."
“They’re just colleagues,” Chu Hua said. “They’re colleagues as singers, but can’t they be colleagues as magical girls?”
Ding dong.
The elevator arrived, and Chu Hua and Xiang Zi stepped out of the elevator lobby one after the other. Usually, Chu Hua would let Xiang Zi go out first, but today Chu Hua was the first to leave, with a sense of not giving a reason to do so.
When Chu Hua arrived at her front door, she looked around to make sure there were no hidden cameras or anything like that before opening the door with peace of mind.
As we entered the foyer, the conversation continued.
"Anyway, Xiangzi, you don't need to worry. I can handle this kind of small matter."
"It's not cost-effective at all. I'll just move out and be done with it once and for all."
“If you move out, people will say it’s to avoid suspicion because of me, and the gossip will never end.” Chu Hua bent down to untie her shoelaces. “The innocent will clear themselves. The house is so big and empty. What’s wrong with me living with my childhood friend?”
"..." Xiangzi silently took off his shoes and put on slippers.
She only stayed because she couldn't resist Chu Hua's insistence, and of course, there was also Toyama Kasumi who was stirring things up and adding fuel to the fire.
"I'm not going to say anything more." Xiangzi walked to the kitchen, took off his apron and tied it on, then opened the refrigerator. "What do you want to eat tonight?"
"It's my turn today, right? We agreed that it would be one person per day," Chu Hua said.
“I ordered takeout yesterday, so it doesn’t count,” Xiangzi said. “Don’t try to take it from me. If you want it, I’ll move out tomorrow.”
......
Xiangzi's cooking skills are quite good. When she was still a young lady, she took a housekeeping class and learned a lot from it. Her cooking is actually better than Chuhua's, who has lived alone for several years.
Within twenty minutes, as Xiangzi, wearing an apron, placed two plates of stir-fried spaghetti with Spanish spicy sausage and smoked beef on the table, Chuhua thought that perhaps Xiangzi would be better off as a housekeeper than a stage manager.
No.
If she becomes a housekeeper, these things won't be available to her alone.
In the East, it is customary not to speak while eating or sleeping, but to be honest, the dinner table is often where a family talks the most.
As the plate emptied, Chu Hua began to look for opportunities to start a conversation.
"Tomorrow Mana and I are going 'hunting,' so we probably won't be home all day."
Tomorrow is the weekend, and Chu Hua's schedule says she's on holiday. The film crew isn't working either, and Xiang Zi is free too.
"Yes, you've been ignoring her for several days, and your supply of Seeds of Sorrow must be running low," Xiangzi nodded and said.
"But that means I can't be with you."
"I have things to do myself."
Xiangzi ate much slower than Chuhua. He would twirl a small ball of spaghetti with his fork and put it in his mouth, chewing slowly.
Even after wandering outside for half a year, you could still see the air of a young lady etched into her bones when she ate.
The crisp clinking of forks and plates echoed across the dining table as Chu Hua, holding her fork, watched Xiang Zi chew slowly and carefully.
After a while, Chu Hua spoke again.
"Have you made a decision regarding the school?"
"It's still under consideration, but it's basically settled."
“Why not choose Hanasakigawa? Kasumi-senpai also graduated from Hanasakigawa, right?” Hatsuka put down her fork and wiped her mouth with a napkin. “My student status is also at Hanasakigawa, so I can give you a little more help.”
Xiangzi secretly rolled his eyes, thinking to himself, "Isn't it because you're here that I don't go rowing the boat?"
“I plan to transfer to Yuqiu,” Xiangzi said. “Yuqiu offers scholarships and subsidies; you can apply if your grades are in the top 5%.”
“But…you know she’s in Yuqiu.” Chu Hua didn’t say the name, but they both knew who she was talking about.
jingle.
Xiangzi put down his fork and buried his eyes in the shadow of his bangs.
Xiangzi's diagnosis included three main illnesses, one of which was mild post-traumatic stress disorder.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) refers to a stress-related mental disorder that occurs in response to a patient’s past psychological or physical trauma.
Many soldiers who have experienced war have this symptom; certain things in daily life can trigger painful memories of the war, causing intense psychological distress.
PTSD sufferers often have a relatively specific object of trauma. For war veterans, the object of trauma might be an explosion, a gun-shaped object, or something else entirely. But for Xiangzi...
Her traumatized subject was Takamatsu Akari.
Mentioning the name or seeing the person can cause mild psychological distress.
Fortunately, it was only mild; she wasn't at the point where she would die from seeing a light.
"Xiangzi...would you like to think about it some more?" Chu Hua asked cautiously.
“I’ve thought it over. Yuqiu’s scholarship is very important to me.” Xiangzi stood up. “I’m full.”
“You know you can use my money however you want…” Chu Hua looked up at Xiangzi.
"How about I move out tomorrow?" Xiangzi raised an eyebrow condescendingly. "I said I would pay it back."
"..."
Xiangzi shook his head, picked up his plate, which was only two-thirds full, and also took the empty plate in front of Chuhua, before heading towards the kitchen.
She had little appetite and didn't want to eat.
Holding the plate, he was about to dump the pasta into the trash can.
"Xiangzi, you're such a shameless person..." she said to herself, "You owe Chuhua so much..."
In the end, he finished the rest of the noodles by himself in the kitchen, leaving not too much food waste.

Haneoka Girls' Academy, 3 PM.
"I attended Tsuki no Mori in junior high..."
"Correct."
Are you currently out of school?
"Ah."
"Your grades in junior high were excellent, all A's. What was the reason for your dropping out? Would you mind telling us?"
"I'm sorry, there have been some changes in my family situation..."
"Yes, this question is a bit offensive, but let's just let it go."
"Feel sorry......"
