They were shouting things like "being penniless is freedom" and "money is a seductive demon," as if they weren't robbing the bank to steal money, but to burn it.
But ultimately, all those slogans and empty promises are just a means to an end; they still want money.
......
Xiangzi turned off the video and looked up.
There should have been quite a few people on the tram in the evening, but in order to avoid Su Shi, she went to a relatively secluded place to board the tram, and this carriage happened to be almost empty.
Xiangzi saw another version of himself sitting opposite him.
The setting sun shone through the window, casting large patches of light on her cheeks and burying her eyes in the shadows of dusk, but leaving no shadow on the ground.
"Long time no see," Toyokawa Shoko greeted.
"It hasn't been long, only a few days." Xiangzi silently lowered his head to look at his phone.
"I've been doing well these past few days, they don't need me anymore."
"I have never needed you, not even once."
"Every time you can't make a decision, it's me who makes the decision for you."
Toyokawa Shoko crossed her legs, her gaze passing over the empty tram car and landing on Shoko across from her.
Xiangzi kept his head down and didn't look at her.
The clattering sound of the tram wheels passing through the gaps between the rails became the only sound in the carriage at that moment.
After a long while, the tram arrived at the station.
Toyokawa Shoko stood up and got off the bus.
She stopped at the car door, turned around and said to Xiangzi.
"It's good that you don't need me. I wish you a speedy recovery."
Ding dong.
The car door is closed.
Xiangzi raised his head and looked in the direction where his other self had disappeared.
"baffling."
She took out the medicine bottle.
She has reduced the frequency of taking medication these past few days, but her condition has actually improved compared to when she was taking medication more often, and her emotions are less prone to fluctuation.
What's that guy doing suddenly appearing out of nowhere?
Just for a couple of sarcastic remarks?
be sick.
Open the medicine bottle and think about whether or not to take one.
In the end, I decided against it.
Perhaps the condition is actually getting better.
She glanced out the car window; it was completely dark outside.
As the streetlights came on one by one, she left the station, opened the location Chu Hua had sent her, and followed the navigation.
She had an appointment to meet someone that evening, and she was now heading to the restaurant where they had arranged to meet.
Timoris represents fear.
Its territory is the most isolated territory, a dojo with only Timoris, a familiar dressed in a black monk's robe, wearing a straw hat that completely covers his face, and holding a monk's staff.
It's very much like a short film that gave Xiangzi nightmares when he was a child.
There was an alien disguised as a monk who killed many people.
It was finally defeated by a samurai.
Timoris is also very similar to the alien monk in Xiangzi's memory; he is extremely strong, and his individual strength is definitely above Hard.
and......
Like Amoris, it cannot be harmed.
It's not quite accurate to say that it won't be harmed. Timoris doesn't have any real vital points. The only way to defeat it is through sheer strength, the kind of strength that can kill it with a single blow.
Chu Hua has enough raw strength, but she is better at fighting in groups and is also responsible for dealing with Dolores.
Xiangzi needs to find another magical girl who can handle Timoris on her own.
Fortunately, Chu Hua said she knew someone and immediately introduced her to her.
Tonight is the time they agreed to meet.
When Xiangzi arrived at the agreed-upon family restaurant, she saw Chuhua waving at her from afar.
The person sitting opposite Chu Hua must be the legendary master.
With its back to me, I can't see its face.
But the hairstyle looks familiar; it's like I've seen it somewhere before.
Xiangzi tightened his backpack on his shoulder and walked towards the dining table.
She reached out her hand and offered it to the girl who had turned around.

"Nice to meet you, I am..."
Xiangzi shook hands with the other person, paused for a moment, and then chuckled.
“It seems this isn’t our first meeting, Miss Hachiman.”
what a small world.
"Hello, Ms. Toyokawa."
"Did you choose this place?" Xiangzi asked, standing in the aisle of the booth.
“Yes, I often eat here, so I’m quite familiar with it,” Hailing replied.
"It looks pretty good, it has a homey feel to it."
"That's why I come here often; there are people around, so I won't feel too lonely."
"Do you often come alone?"
"No, I'll go with friends."
Xiangzi narrowed his eyes and glanced at the customers in the shop.
Despite being described as a family restaurant, she didn't see many children. Instead, she saw groups of thugs with cigarettes in their mouths, making the place smoky and unpleasant.
Evenings are the liveliest time at family restaurants, and the environment is a bit noisy, but not so noisy that you can't chat.
She could tolerate the smell of smoke; compared to internet cafes, the restaurant smelled much milder.
"Huh? Have you guys met him before?"
Chu Hua's bewildered gaze lingered between Xiangzi and Hailing.
The two people she had introduced to each other immediately abandoned her and started chatting.
"We met by chance and played the street piano together," Xiangzi said.
Hai Ling nodded.
"I could tell that Hachiman-san was a magical girl back then, but I just kept an eye on her. I never expected to see her again."
"I never expected that Miss Xiangzi would have any connection with our group."
Chu Hua blinked, got up from her seat, and made room for Xiangzi to sit in the inner seat.
"We haven't ordered yet, Xiao Xiang, what would you like to eat?"
Before Xiangzi had even settled into his seat, he picked up the menu and handed it to Hailing.
"Can a regular customer recommend one? We'll just have the same one."
Hailing took the menu.
But Xiangzi did not let go.
The other person was just an ordinary person, and Hailing only needed to use a little force to pull the menu out of her hand, but that would have looked awkward.
"Getting to the point so quickly?" Hailing pinched the corner of the menu. "We haven't ordered yet."
"Regular customers probably don't need to look at the menu to order."
"This store frequently launches new products."
"Just do it your usual way. I have a limited ability to accept new things."
"..." Hailing narrowed her eyes. "Alright, if that's what you think."
She let go of his hand, called the waiter, ordered the dishes she usually ordered, and then multiplied them by three.
—〗踆鸸〒;依〨叄舞泣玖硫]散'迩—“么西么西~ Please add another serving of everything you just ordered.”
A purple object darted out from behind the waiter, startling him.
"You're late." Xiangzi said, resting his chin on his hand. "Miss Ruomai from Youtian Temple."
"Hey, don't call me by my real name. You said I was late, but I was only a few dozen seconds later than you."
Miao Meng stroked her face and waved her hand, then sat in the empty seat next to Hai Ling, smiling as she looked at Xiang Zi.
"Or did you not notice me following you all along?"
Xiangzi's face turned black instantly.
"How long did you follow them?"
"It wasn't long before I ran into you in the car. Besides, how can you call that stalking? That sounds awful..."
Miaomeng stopped talking midway through her speech.
Because Chu Hua was sitting right across from Miao Meng, with a smile on her face, without saying a word.
"Hehehe... Just pretend I didn't say anything."
Miao Meng wisely stopped pursuing the topic of stalking and turned to look at Hai Ling, who was sitting in the same row as her.
“Domo, Meow Meow Desu~ The people sitting opposite me are Shoko and Hatsuko~” Meow Meow stretched out her hand.
Miaomeng affectionately snuggled against Hailing's shoulder, whom she had just met.
“We don’t need you to introduce us.” Xiangzi sighed, rubbing his forehead.
"Chu Zi? Hai Zi?" Chu Hua tilted her head slightly.
"Adding a 'zi' to the end of a name is so cute~ Xiangzi, Chuzi, Muzi whom I haven't met yet, and..." Miaomeng's eyes drifted to Hailing beside her.
"Hachiman Kairin." Kairin politely pushed Nekomo aside. "Nice to meet you, Nekomoko."
"Hey~ call me Meow Dream, okay~ Hai Zi~"
Why are you the only one who's different?
"Because MeowDream is MeowDream~"
Miao Meng's voice changed from its sweet and cloying tone to a much deeper and more resonant one.
"But Hai Zi, you seem to know this shop very well. Do you come here often?"
“A regular customer.” Hailing glanced at her.
"Then you must be very familiar with the area around here, right?"
Miaomeng and Xiangzi secretly exchanged glances.
They both had the same question.
Xiangzi had asked Hailing to order without looking at the menu to see if she was really familiar with the restaurant. Since that was the case, Xiangzi was certain that this was a place Hailing frequented, and by extension, this area was where she often hung out.
But as far as Xiangzi knew, the security situation here wasn't very good.
