"Take a seat. Why are you standing?" Alvin offered her a seat.

But there was no sofa or chair nearby, so she had no choice but to sit on the edge of the bed.

Nangong Lin sat down cautiously and couldn’t help but scold Alvin, "You silly boy, seriously, even though you already had breakfast, you didn’t say, and when I asked you to eat, you really did. Don’t you know you can’t overeat? Didn’t you know eating too much might cause your stomach to burst? What if something happened to you?"

"I know." Even though Nangong Lin’s words were a bit gruesome with exaggerated gestures, Alvin just kept smiling at her and replied earnestly, "But it was the first time you treated me to a meal, and the first time any girl did, so of course I had to eat."
