Yuuzuki smiled and calmly sat down between Kakashi and Zabuza.
"Fill it up, please."
Yuuki politely said to Zabuza, who was pouring sake.
Zabuza raised an eyebrow: "Hey, kid, you're too old to drink."
"If you get drunk, I won't be responsible for carrying you home."
Zabuza, though a ruthless character, has been diligently carrying out his missions every day since arriving in Konoha. In just a few days, he has completed three B-rank and one A-rank mission.
In addition, since he was brought back by Naruto, the others didn't feel too alienated from him.
"You're kidding, I have a huge capacity for alcohol; I can drink all day and not get drunk."
Yuzuki raised her glass, gesturing for the other person to order some.
"Yuzuki, at your age, it's best to avoid alcohol..."
Kakashi advised
"It's okay, I—"
Before she could finish speaking, Yu Yue's collar was suddenly grabbed by a hand, and she was dragged away.
Looking up, a strand of golden hair came into view.
"Suffer!"
"I'll just have a small bite, Ino."
"no!"
Ino's stance was firm, and she refused to budge an inch.
"Alright alright"
"I'll sit at the kids' table," Yuzuki sighed helplessly.
"Master Jiu, can we serve the food now? I'm hungry."
Yuzuki called out loudly
"Alright, come help serve the dishes!"
The voice of the Nine Lamas could be heard coming from the kitchen.
"Go! Go! Go!"
Chapter 138 Wow, Joan of Arc eats mud ducks!
Time flies like water, and several months have passed in the blink of an eye.
On October 6th, winter quietly approached, and only a few days remained until Kushina was to welcome a new life.
Due to significant plot changes and the advanced technology Minato brought back from the future, Konoha Village is experiencing an unprecedented period of rapid development.
The exact date of Naruto's birth may no longer be October 10th; it could be as early as tomorrow, or even the very next moment.
However, regardless of the circumstances, the mission to protect Kushina had already begun in earnest, and everyone was holding their breath, eagerly anticipating that crucial moment.
Hidden among the lush branches of a large tree near Minato Namikaze's residence, Kakashi's figure was concealed, his vigilant gaze constantly scanning the surroundings, wary of any potential uninvited guests.
He was ordered to guard Kushina here, partly so that Kakashi would have something to do to distract him and prevent him from dwelling too much on past pain.
"Kakashi, are you free right now?"
Suddenly, Minato Namikaze's voice rang in Kakashi's ears.
"Minato-sensei?" Kakashi perked up and quickly turned around, only to find no one behind him.
"That sound clearly came from here," he muttered to himself, slightly puzzled.
Before he could figure out what was going on, the voice came again:
"Kakashi, come in for a moment. Someone wants to meet you."
Minato's words carried a hint of mystery, which made Kakashi even more curious.
"Someone wants to see me? Who is it?" Filled with suspicion, Kakashi leaped down from the tree and arrived at the entrance of the house.
Despite being completely baffled by the visitor's identity, he would obey any arrangement made by Minato-sensei.
Pushing open the door and stepping inside, Kakashi went straight to the living room.
However, only Minato Namikaze was there; no one else was in sight.
"Please sit down, Kakashi," Minato said with his usual warm smile.
"Minato-sensei," Kakashi asked as he sat down, "You just said, who wants to see me?"
Minato didn't answer immediately, but instead looked at Kakashi with a smile.
Just as Kakashi was wondering what was going on, darkness suddenly enveloped his vision, and a warm feeling simultaneously washed over his eyes.
—Someone gently covered his eyes from behind with their hands!
Kakashi tensed up, utterly astonished.
who is it?
They were able to approach him so silently, and he didn't even notice.
Fortunately, the visitors were friends, not enemies. Kakashi secretly reminded himself that he needed to train even harder from now on.
"Hello, excuse me..." He was interrupted before he could finish speaking.
A voice he knew all too well came from behind him:
"Idiot Kakashi, guess who I am?"
The voice seemed to instantly touch a nerve, and Kakashi's body trembled slightly.
"you……"
There was no need to guess; that voice was one he would never forget. The moment the other person spoke, Kakashi knew who it was.
But...shouldn't he be gone by now?
"Obito... is that you?" Kakashi's voice trembled slightly, as if afraid this was just a cruel joke.
"Tsk, you're quite clever."
The person behind him released his grip, and light returned. Kakashi was stunned for a moment, then suddenly turned around.
"Obito! It really is you!"
The Obito before me still had that familiar silly grin from my memories.
Even though he had changed into casual clothes and was no longer wearing his ever-present goggles, Kakashi still recognized him at a glance.
Seeing Kakashi about to rush over and hug him, Obito quickly reached out to stop him:
"Wait a minute, you idiot Kakashi, calm down first."
Kakashi was momentarily stunned, and Obito continued:
"I know you're feeling really emotional right now, but we can find another way to vent."
"Stop hugging me all the time, I'm tired of it."
As he spoke, he casually reached into the air, causing a spatial ripple to appear and disappear in an instant. As if by magic, Obito produced a maid outfit.
"Come on, put this on, let me take a few pictures and that'll be it."
Obito grinned, his face full of smugness.
Kakashi's face darkened. What a joke! There's no way he could wear something like that!
How come this guy's personality has become so unique?
It even moved me to tears.
"Dream on! If you want to wear it, go ahead and wear it yourself."
Kakashi snatched the maid outfit and tossed it aside.
"Kakashi, just once!"
Obito clutched his head, feigning a wail.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Once it succeeds, I can return to my own timeline and use these photos to tease Kakashi back there.
Kakashi, you don't want these photos to get out of here, do you?
Kakashi rolled his eyes, ignoring Obito's antics, and turned to look at Minato Namikaze, who was still smiling gently.
With a hint of confusion and the joy of reuniting with Obito, he asked:
"Minato-sensei, what... what's going on?"
Although asking this question might seem inappropriate, Kakashi clearly remembered that Obito was in an extremely dangerous situation at the time.
It's already a case of more bad luck than good.
