Chapter 124 The Mighty Tartaglia
Chapter 124 The Mighty Tartaglia
Dodoria abruptly stopped, a look of surprise on his face, then turned to look at Frieza. He frowned slightly, his eyes filled with doubt.
Frieza sat atop the aircraft, his expression cold and his gaze sharp as he stared at Dodoria. He slightly raised his chin, a cold smile playing on his lips, and said, "Even if you want to kill them, you'll have to start with these four youths first."
Dodoria gritted his teeth and glared fiercely at the elder: "Damn it!" Then he leaped and landed swiftly in front of the four youths. He grinned, revealing a ferocious smile, and chuckled, "Alright, since Your Majesty says so, I'll deal with you first. I can take you all down in just 10 seconds!"
A young man gritted his teeth and said, "Nonsense! Do you think you can take on the four of us by yourself?"
Dodoria wore a contemptuous smile, his lips slightly upturned to reveal a set of gleaming white teeth, his eyes filled with disdain. He placed his hands on his hips, leaned forward slightly, and looked at the young man provocatively, saying, "You little punks dare to say I'm no match for you?" His voice was deep and laced with sarcasm.
The young man's face was solemn, and a hint of tension was in his eyes, but he still tried to remain calm and retorted through gritted teeth, "Don't be arrogant, we're not afraid of you." He clenched his fists, his body tense, ready to deal with Dodoria's attack at any moment.
Upon hearing this, Dodoria threw his head back and burst into laughter, the sound echoing through the air. After laughing, he stomped his foot violently, and his body vanished in an instant like lightning. The young man stared wide-eyed, looking around for Dodoria's whereabouts. Suddenly, Dodoria appeared behind him, a cruel smile on his face. His left hand shot out swiftly, like a sharp dagger, piercing straight through the young man's body. The young man shuddered, letting out a muffled groan of pain as blood gushed from the wound.
At that moment, another youth rushed over, his eyes wide with rage, shouting, "You demon, give me back my companion's life!" He leaped high into the air, his right hand aimed at Dodoria's head. Dodoria's lips curled into a slight sneer. Without turning his head, he swung his right hand back sharply, his elbow striking the youth's chest with tremendous force. With a "crack," the youth's ribs caved in instantly, his heart shattered, and he flew backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily to the ground.
Dodoria turned, his gaze icy as he looked at the remaining two Namekian youths. He extended his right hand and casually shoved the youth whose body had been pierced to the ground with a muffled thud. Then, he slowly pulled out his left hand, blood dripping from his arm onto the ground. His eyes blazed as he locked onto the third youth, letting out a furious roar: "Die, all of you!" A wave of energy erupted from his mouth, striking the youth before he could react, instantly pulling him into the center of the battlefield.
The last youth, the furthest from D'Artagnan, had already reached him. His face was grave, his eyes fixed on D'Artagnan. With a shout, he raised his right hand high, clawing at D'Artagnan. D'Artagnan reacted quickly, twisting his head to easily dodge the attack.
Seeing this, the young man's heart sank. He knew he was no match for Dodoria, but he still refused to give up. He quickly swung his arms and engaged in a fierce battle with Dodoria.
The two exchanged blows, but after only one round, the young man felt his strength waning. Using the force of the recoil, he pushed off with both feet and leaped backward, creating distance between himself and Dodoria.
The young man gasped for breath, a flicker of fear in his eyes. But he didn't give up. He swiftly gathered energy waves in his hands, let out a shout, and launched the energy waves at Dodoria.
Seeing this, Dodoria's lips curled up slightly, revealing a hint of disdain. He stood still, neither dodging nor avoiding, letting the energy wave strike him.
With a loud "boom," a deep crater appeared in the ground. As smoke billowed out, Dodoria emerged unharmed from the crater.
Upon seeing this, the young man was shocked and his face showed an expression of disbelief.
Dodoria looked at the young man and chuckled, "With that little bit of attack, you're nowhere near my match."
The young man gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with anger and resentment. He wanted to launch another attack, but found himself powerless to fight.
Dodoria gave him no chance to catch his breath, lunging forward and slamming his head into the youth's abdomen. The youth was thrown backward, his body slamming uncontrollably into the mountainside.
With a loud "boom," a huge hole was smashed into the mountain wall, and the young man died on the spot.
Dodoria slowly stood up, brushed the dust off his head, and grinned smugly. "Exactly ten seconds," he chuckled.
Frieza watched all this, then looked up at the Namekian elder still in the air and said, "See? This is the price for going against me. Can you come down now?"
The elder hadn't expected these guys to be so powerful. Knowing he was no match for them, he had no choice but to slowly lower himself down and land on the ground.
Frieza was very satisfied with the Namekian elder's performance, and he laughed sharply, "Hehehe, very good. Wouldn't it have been better if you had cooperated like this earlier? Hmph, since you destroyed our power level detectors, then hand over the Dragon Balls in your possession as compensation." He raised his chin, his eyes full of arrogance and disdain.
The Namekian elder sighed helplessly, a hint of worry in his eyes, and replied, "Alright, but I have one condition: you cannot harm these two children." The elder stared intently at Frieza, awaiting his response. Frieza, however, merely raised his head arrogantly, ignoring the elder's words.
Sabo nodded slightly, seemingly agreeing with the elder's request. However, this did not affect Frieza's decision.
Left with no other choice, the Namekian elder gritted his teeth and reluctantly agreed, "I hope you will keep your promise." With that, he turned and walked toward the place where the Dragon Balls were stored.
Gohan, Krillin, and Shangyun witnessed this scene from a distance. Shangyun frowned and said with a worried look, "These guys never keep their promises. It looks like they're going to get another Dragon Ball."
Son Gohan clenched his fists, furious, and gritted his teeth, saying, "These guys are awful!" Krillin quickly stopped Son Gohan and whispered, "Gohan, calm down and don't reveal your ki. We're no match for them yet."
Soon, the Namekian elder returned carrying the Dragon Balls. Frieza saw the Dragon Balls and a satisfied smile appeared on his face. He said, "Very good. As you know, the Dragon Balls only have meaning when all seven are collected. So, now tell me the whereabouts of the other two Dragon Balls."
