Chapter 39 Tea Party
Chapter 39 Tea Party
I followed Lucius Malfoy to a previously empty classroom in Hogwarts Castle.
Voldemort is still in power, and the Malfoy family is really rich. I wonder if the Malfoy family is one of the Hogwarts board members, because they started a party in an empty classroom.
Draco Malfoy doesn't know how to spend money as much as his father; look at this ostentation.
In this classroom, a noble tea party is being held.
It was decorated in a magnificent and opulent style, with expensive oil paintings hanging on the walls and luxurious carpets covering the floor.
In the center of the hall was a huge table, which was covered with a variety of exquisite tea sets and snacks.
Only invited young wizards are allowed to enter. Dressed in magnificent wizarding robes and adorned with precious jewels, they arrive one after another and walk into the hall.
They exchanged pleasantries, their faces beaming with confident and proud smiles.
A well-dressed house-elf walked to the table, picked up a teapot, and began to brew tea for the guests.
This is a well-trained house-elf; his movements are elegant and skillful, as if he were performing an art.
The brewed tea was poured into exquisite teacups and then handed to the seated young wizards.
The young wizards took the teacups and sipped them gently.
The aroma of the tea was irresistible, and its rich, mellow taste left a lingering aftertaste. The young wizards praised Lucius Malfoy's house-elf's tea-making skills, and Lucius Malfoy smiled and expressed his gratitude.
After enjoying the tea, the guests began to sample the snacks.
There are many kinds of snacks, including cakes, cookies, and fruits.
Each pastry was so beautifully made that it was almost too beautiful to eat. The young wizards chatted and enjoyed the pastries in a very pleasant atmosphere.
While they were chatting, I just quietly sipped the tea I was holding.
I don't want to have anything to do with Voldemort's men. I only came with Lucius Malfoy so that I could have a chance to get close to Voldemort. These little wizards are just a bunch of minions.
“Junior Ayers, do you have anything to say?” Lucius Malfoy snapped me out of my daze.
"Senior Malfoy, I have nothing to say. You two talk, I'm listening." I smiled and waved to them, not wanting to offer any opinions.
"It's nothing really, just Halloween tomorrow. My family is having a party and I'd like to invite you all. That esteemed person might also be there, so I thought I'd introduce you all." This time, Lucius Malfoy...
That's all I'm missing is this meeting with Lao Fu that you've prepared for me.
"It would be my honor, and I will definitely attend on time." Although I am very happy now, I still have to pretend, don't I?
"We'll be there on time too," the other invited young wizards happily announced, adding that they would be coming along as well.
The tea party lasted for several hours, ending only as night fell.
The young wizards rose to say goodbye, and Lucius Malfoy personally escorted them to the classroom door.
As they left, the young wizards felt very satisfied and happy. They all said it was a very memorable tea party and they looked forward to the next gathering.
I also said goodbye to Lucius Malfoy at this time, and we agreed to meet the next day at Horace Slughorn's fireplace to teleport to Malfoy Manor.
After parting ways with Lucius Malfoy, I planned to spend the day at the Room of Requirement. It seemed impossible to go back to Severus's room, but that didn't stop me from going to see him.
Using the Disappearance Charm to make himself invisible, he casually followed a Slytherin student into the Slytherin common room, and then walked to the door of Severus's bedroom.
Knock, knock, knock. A light knock was made on the door, and Severus was seen peeking out through the crack in the door with his wand in hand.
Seeing that Severus was safely in the dormitory, he felt relieved and turned to leave.
"Wait." Seeing the person who had saved him this afternoon and then suddenly left, he couldn't help but open the door and pull the person into the room.
Before he could even stand properly, Severus pulled him into his bedroom.
"Who exactly are you? Why did you help me today? I asked all the upperclassmen this afternoon, and none of them knew you." Where did Severus get this relentless questioning from?
"Severus." I didn't want to explain anything; I just wanted to protect him silently.
"Huh? Are we that close? Why are you calling me that?" Severus really didn't know what was wrong with him. Hearing the boy in front of him call him Severus, he actually responded out of habit.
Only his dearest mother called him Severus; even Lily only called him Severus.
"I can't tell you now, you'll know when we meet next time." He pulled the unsuspecting Severus into his arms. The faint herbal scent really did relieve fatigue, at least for me.
"Then shouldn't you tell me your name?" Severus didn't push away the hug; he was meeting this person for the first time.
"My name is Ayers Hall." Fully charged, I can go see Old Voldemort tomorrow.
“Ayers Hall,” Severus called my name again.
"I'm here." Hearing Severus call her name, she put on her most beautiful smile.
However, we can't reveal too much information to Severus now, so we use the silent spell 'Faint' to put Severus to sleep.
He picked up the unconscious Severus in his arms and gently placed him on his bed, took off his coat and shoes, and covered him with a blanket.
I glanced through his books to make sure he had finished his homework before turning off the light for him.
"Sweet dreams, Severus." He planted a kiss on Severus's forehead and tiptoed out of his bedroom.
The spell on Severus won't last long. I've controlled my magic well, and he'll wake up around 7 a.m. at the latest, which will give me time to groom him.
Leaving the Slytherin common room and walking through the deserted corridors of Hogwarts Castle, it was incredibly quiet. It must be curfew now; I've never done a night stroll before. How exciting!
However, just in case, I cast the 'Illusion Charm' on myself and kept going up. I plan to rest at the House of Requirement tonight.
Walk all the way to the eighth floor, opposite the tapestry of the giant stick beating up Banaba. You'll always have this urge to find a room to rest. After walking across that wall three times, a very smooth door will appear on the wall. Open the door and go inside.
Great, this is a lounge with one bedroom and one living room. Let's open the room where we're resting. Hmm, it's very clean. It seems that the Room of Requirement cleans regularly. This is more comfortable than a hotel room. No wonder so many little wizards like to go to the Room of Requirement.
I'm a bit tired today, so I'll tidy myself up and go to sleep. Luckily, this room has a shower. I brought all my clothes with me, including my dress for tomorrow's ball.
A portable backpack is so useful!
