Chapter 61 See you next time, Tom Marvolo Riddell
Finally, Tom Marvolo Riddle returned, and looking at the wand in his hand, you could tell he was very excited.
I think it's best not to spoil his mood. After I see him off on the train, I'll leave him a letter and then leave. We'll still see each other again, won't we? There's no need to make it such a dramatic farewell.
After we Apparated back home, Tom Marvolo Riddle wanted to try out the spells he had learned before with his new wand.
As a result, I stopped him; underage wizards cannot use magic at home, and Tom Marvolo Riddle's face darkened several shades.
"Haha." I laughed out loud, which was rather unkind of me.
As night falls, the hustle and bustle of the city is gradually replaced by the tranquility of the night.
In this cozy little house, we sat around the dining table, enjoying our last dinner before parting ways.
The table was laden with a variety of delicious dishes, including tender and juicy roast beef, fragrant roast chicken, brightly colored vegetable salad, and steaming seafood soup... Each dish exuded an enticing aroma that made one's mouth water.
As I savored the delicious food, I reminisced about the past.
Those wonderful times we spent together play like a movie in our minds.
Tom Marvolo Riddell still wore that indifferent expression, but I could sense a hint of reluctance in his heart.
I smiled slightly, breaking the silence: "Tom Marvolo, you're going to school soon, how's that? Are you excited?"
Riddle looked up into my eyes and said slowly, "Are you planning to leave?"
I nodded, put some food on his plate, and said, "Yes, I might be away for a while."
Tom Marvolo Riddle scoffed and said, "So, am I supposed to go back to the orphanage?"
I looked at him and smiled as I said, "How could that be? From the moment I adopted you, you belonged to my family. How could you think of me like that? I've had such a hard time."
Tom Marvolo Riddell was speechless at my sudden change of expression; who on earth was this person in front of him?
"Hahaha~" I laughed even louder this time. How could they possibly escape now that I've lured them back?
“This house will always be your house. I’ll leave you one of the keys. I need to leave for a while.” I put down a gleaming gold key and handed it to Tom Marvolo Riddell.
Tom Marvolo Riddle, who himself doesn't know when he'll travel back in time again, can't give a specific timeframe for when he'll return. He might not be able to wait for me to come back, and who knows what he'll do then.
"Actually, you don't have to come back." Tom Marvolo Riddle is really good now, and I really don't want him to become like the old Voldemort of the future.
We finished dinner in that atmosphere, then washed up and went to bed.
Platform 9¾ was teeming with people.
Tom Marvolo Riddle, the boy who would later become Voldemort, stood there, ready to embark on his journey to Hogwarts.
He was dressed in a neat black robe, his hair was combed neatly, and his eyes revealed a coldness and confidence.
Beside him stood a figure dressed in a golden robe embroidered with exquisite magical runes and patterns, exuding power and mystery.
A golden belt was tied around my waist, inlaid with various precious gems and magical items, giving off an air of wealth and luxury.
“Tom Marvolo, you must study hard and remember me.” I looked at Tom Marvolo Riddle with a smile, my eyes full of concern.
“Ayers, can’t you be normal for once?” Tom Marvolo Riddle replied, at a loss for words to describe the attire of the man who had seen him off.
I patted him on the shoulder and said, "Tom Marvolo Riddle, you're a smart kid, and I'm sure you'll do well at Hogwarts."
Tom Marvolo Riddell nodded without saying a word.
His gaze swept past the crowd and landed on the Hogwarts Train in the distance.
The train looked like a giant iron dragon, exuding an aura of mystery.
“Alright, it’s time, you should get in the car.” I said to him, my voice tinged with reluctance, wondering what Tom Marvolo Riddle would be like the next time we met.
Tom Marvolo Riddell picked up his luggage and turned to walk toward the train.
His steps were firm and powerful, as if he already knew his destiny.
He boarded the train and found an empty carriage to sit down.
Seeing Ayers still watching him from outside, he wondered what their next meeting would be like.
The train slowly started moving, carrying Riddle towards Hogwarts.
He 'transformed' back to his home and took one last look at the place where Tom Marvolo Riddell had lived for a year.
(Sponsor, return to the original time period)
[Jin: Okay, return shuttle activated]
Time hasn't passed here at all, but suddenly being back in this original space makes me feel a little out of place.
He changed back into his Slytherin uniform and put on the gold-rimmed glasses that he had kept in his portable backpack for a year.
Seeing Mingyue lying in the cat bed, I picked her up and petted her.
"Long time no see~" Stroking the cat's ears and tail~ So comforting~
"Let me catch my breath~ I don't even know what classes I have tomorrow." This time travel has taken a really long time, and I feel like I'm jet-lagged.
I checked the time; it was midnight. I decided to get some sleep first and check the schedule again tomorrow morning.
I put Mingyue back in her cat bed, grabbed my pajamas, and went to wash up.
Mingyue, who had been lying in the cat bed, suddenly stood up, her golden and blue eyes silently watching my disappearing figure.
When I came out of the cat house after showering and drying my wet hair, Mingyue was no longer there.
I don't care where it goes; that's its freedom. It's quite safe at Hogwarts, though it can suddenly disappear from time to time, but I'm not worried about it.
Back at Hogwarts, I was able to take out my wand and use it again, even though I hadn't used it for over a year.
But when I got my hands on it, it felt very natural and I didn't feel unfamiliar with it at all. Using a wand to cast spells was much more comfortable than using one without a wand.
[Night: Ding—A new bloodline instance has been updated. Please check it, host.]
(They really never stop!)
I'm so exhausted! I just finished playing with the big spender for a year, and now there's a new bloodline dungeon. They're really squeezing all my time out of me.
(Night, what kind of bloodline dungeon is this time? How long is the time limit? I'm not really in the mood to go into the dungeon right now.)
[Night: Elf Clan Dungeon, available within one week]
(It's alright. I'll start the dungeon again after I've rested for a few days. Let me rest for a few days.)
