Chapter 59 Learning and Teaching
Chapter 59 Learning and Teaching
With the medical scroll that Tsunade gave him before she left, Taichi knew that his training plan would have to be changed again. He had to pick up medical ninjutsu again and could no longer practice it only in his spare time as he had done before.
Moreover, there is now a "student" who comes to Taiyi from time to time to ask him about medical knowledge, which makes it even more necessary for Taiyi to reorganize the relevant knowledge he has acquired.
Sure enough, just as Taiyi finished his morning exercise, Lin came to Taiyi's house with a gift.
Looking at Lin carrying a fruit basket at the door, Taiyi felt that Lin was really good at dealing with people, unlike a certain "white-haired pretentious guy" and "hot-blooded idiot" who always came empty-handed and left with full bellies.
No wonder Rin could act as a mediator between Obito and Kakashi; it wasn't just because she had the favor of both Obito and Kakashi, but more so because of her excellent character and conduct.
Tai let Lin into the house and led her to the study.
"How is it? Is there anything you don't understand?" Taiichi asked enthusiastically.
"Hmm." Lin was still a little embarrassed, but then she seemed to remember something. "Taiyi, I went to look for Shizune this morning. I was planning to come to see you together, but we found that no one was home, and the door was locked. Do you know why?"
Upon hearing Lin's question, Taiyi's eyes darkened as he recalled the scene of their parting that morning.
"Shizune took a leave of absence from school and went traveling with her family?" Of course, Rin couldn't tell her about Tsunade; it was somewhat of a secret, since Tsunade's presence could deter other ninja villages. Especially Chiyo of Sunagakure, who was particularly restrained by Tsunade.
"Oh, I see. We just agreed to study together." Lin seemed a little downcast, muttering to herself softly, which Taiyi didn't quite catch.
However, she quickly composed herself and asked Taiyi all the questions she had had throughout the night.
By answering Rin's questions, Taiyi also re-established and reviewed his various medical skills.
[Your understanding and skills have improved through your medical teaching work!]
……
After answering Rin's questions, Taiichi assigned her today's lessons and told her to practice on her own. He then sat down and looked at the scrolls Tsunade had left behind.
Tsunade not only left behind a wealth of medical knowledge in her scrolls, but also numerous ninjutsu training methods. These included highly complex medical ninjutsu such as the Resurrection Technique and the Yin Healing and Destruction Technique, as well as speculations about the unfinished Creation Rebirth ninjutsu and Tsunade's signature taijutsu—superhuman strength.
After carefully reading the contents of the scroll, Taiichi realized that Tsunade had left all her legacy to him, and also to Konoha.
The room fell silent for a moment, broken only by the occasional sounds of conversation—Rin asking Taiyi for advice, or the rustling of clothes as she formed hand seals, as she practiced her healing techniques.
The peaceful time continued until noon, when a loud "bang" broke the tranquility. Taiyi looked up from the long scroll and towards the direction of the sound, only to see Lin sitting on the ground with a pale face.
Taiyi's heart skipped a beat at the sight. He quickly stepped forward and pressed down on Lin, who was trying to get up. A warm green light shone in Taiyi's hand, grasping Lin's arm and slowly seeping into her body.
"Taiyi, I'm fine. I was just too tired and fell down," Lin said anxiously, trying to explain.
Taiyi rolled his eyes at her, not replying, but instead carefully sensing Lin's internal condition. Taiyi was currently blessed with the teacher's aura, and just a roll of his eyes was enough to silence Lin.
Physical fatigue and severe depletion of energy are minor issues that can be resolved with rest. However, if your cells are showing signs of overexertion, that's a serious matter.
Taiyi gave Lin a reproachful look, which made Lin even more flustered. Then, the chakra in Taiyi's hand slowly changed from light green to emerald green. This was because Taiyi increased the degree of change of the Yang attribute nature, and combined it with the Palm Healing Technique to nourish Lin's overdrawn cells.
Lin felt that the warm chakra that Taiyi had spread throughout his body was slowly turning cool. As this coolness spread through her body, her body, which had felt heavy, felt as if it had been relieved of a heavy burden, and she felt exceptionally relaxed.
Lin had no idea what kind of treatment she was receiving. This was a method of body maintenance created by Taiyi, combining advanced taijutsu techniques with the transformation of yang attribute properties. It was arguably the first of its kind in the ninja world, and its effects were immediate.
The only drawback is that it requires a relatively high level of chakra and skill in Yang attribute transformation. Taiichi only gradually mastered it after reaching Yang attribute transformation level 6.
After only a short while of gentle nurturing, Taiyi's forehead was already covered in sweat. This was a sign of severe depletion of both chakra and mental energy.
Lin became worried about Taiyi's behavior, not only about herself but also about him. She didn't want her own actions to drag Taiyi down with her.
A few minutes later, Taiyi withdrew his hand, and the chakra that had gathered on it slowly dissipated. He sat back down in his chair, drank a cup of tea, took a deep breath, and then solemnly spoke to Rin.
"Rin, I know you yearn to become stronger, but training must be done in moderation, especially chakra refinement. There is a limit to the amount of chakra you can actively refine each day. Once you exceed that, you will overdraw the potential of your body's cells."
"This not only affects the upper limit of your ninja abilities, but more importantly, it affects your lifespan," Taiichi said earnestly. "You must pay attention when you train. If you feel a heaviness in your body while refining chakra, you must stop immediately. That's your body sending you a signal, and you must not ignore it."
Lin listened quietly, knowing that Taiyi was doing this for her own good, and besides, this kind of knowledge couldn't be learned at school. At most, the teacher would just remind her not to overdo it with cultivation.
Firstly, the village desperately wanted every student to quickly develop combat capabilities, and secondly, not everyone could perceive this situation. Rin possessed the talent of a medical ninja, and her chakra control and perception were inherently higher than ordinary people. For most people, feeling heaviness in their body was already a sign of severe depletion.
After resting for a while, and with Taiyi explaining the difficulties Lin had encountered earlier, Lin took the initiative to leave, promising to come to Taiyi's place to study for the next few mornings. As for school, she naturally asked for leave.
After seeing Lin off, Taiyi made a simple lunch. After satisfying his hunger, he picked up his medical scrolls again and began studying. He spent his days studying, then exercising when studying became tedious, and then studying again when he got tired of exercising.
Therefore, a strong person is not just someone with great talent. Taiyi is not someone who can quickly become stronger just by relying on his stats. Without spending a lot of time learning and training, even the best physical conditions will gradually go to waste.
