Chapter 14 The Grand Wedding!
Chapter 14 The Grand Wedding!
"boom"
Of course, the "flirting" between Id and Uru caused a lot of trouble for the townspeople living in the small town.
"This is so annoying!"
"Mayor, please get this crazy couple out of our town!"
"It's impossible! They're too powerful."
The people living in the town complained loudly about this.
Even when faced with invasions from bandits, monsters, or demons, Ido and Uru are the guardians of their town.
They can always trust in the strength of Id and Uru.
The problem is that when there are no external enemies, the two monsters, Id and Uru, are the biggest threat to the town.
Another day has passed.
After breaking down the thin barrier between Id and Uru, their relationship grew closer.
And so, after Ido and Uru's usual battle ended, Ido seemed to have finally made a decision. He pulled Uru into his arms and asked, "Uru, let's get married."
"Huh?"
"So fast?"
Uru, nestled in Ide's arms, trembled slightly. She turned to look at Ide and asked.
"What, you don't want to?"
Id deliberately raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips as he provoked Uru, and asked.
"Of course I'm willing."
"I just feel that everything is going too smoothly, so smoothly that it feels like a dream, unreal."
Uru shook her head; of course she was willing to marry Id.
After all, she got along well with Id in terms of personality, lifestyle, and magical skills.
Most importantly, Id's appearance fits Uru's aesthetic standards.
"In that case..."
Let's prepare for our wedding together!
After Id had finally obtained Uru's consent, he reached out and gently stroked Uru's nose, and began planning his wedding with Uru.
First and foremost, it must be done on a grand scale.
It must be large in scale, at least!
We need to get everyone in the town involved.
Secondly, there's the issue of specifications.
Although the town is not well-stocked with supplies, it has everything it needs, such as fireworks and decorations for celebrations, which are available in dedicated shops.
"As expected, we still need to solve the money problem."
As Id was thinking this, his gaze fell on the back mountain.
"My dear Warcraft, give everything you have for my wedding with Uru!"
As Ide pondered this, a slight light appeared in his eyes.
Yeah, it seems we still have to put up with some hardship with Warcraft.
Warcraft: "Don't come any closer!"
And so.
Three months later.
After three consecutive months of "purge" operations against the nearby monsters in Id, no trace of monsters could be seen within a radius of a hundred miles.
The monsters were either dead or had fled, and had completely turned the town where Id and Uru lived into a forbidden zone in their eyes.
This led to an increase in the number of merchant caravans visiting the town, and the town's commerce sector flourished.
Meanwhile, in recognition of Ide's contributions to the town, the mayor took the initiative to unite the town's merchants and fully sponsor Ide's wedding.
However, this is not over yet.
The town's mayor even decided to personally officiate at Id and Uru's wedding.
At the wedding.
Crowded.
Everyone in the town, including the caravans that came to trade, gathered around.
The banquet stretched for a full kilometer, taking over an entire street.
On the wedding stage at the banquet, the mayor was officiating the marriage of Id and Uru.
Today, Uru wore a white dress, which added a touch of wifely charm to her handsome face, while Ide wore a smart black suit, giving off a spirited and confident vibe.
Clearly, both Uru and Id had dressed up specially, looking exceptionally beautiful and handsome today.
"Id, do you promise to keep your wedding vows, to love her, comfort her, respect her, and protect her, whether in poverty or wealth, in sickness or health, in beauty or in sorrow, in success or failure?"
The mayor tried his best to straighten his hunched back to look more dignified, and asked Id in front of him.
"I do."
Id nodded vigorously and swore an oath.
"Uru, do you take Id to be your husband and live with him in a sacred covenant?"
"Whether in sickness or in health, in poverty or in wealth, in beauty or in loss, in success or in failure, are you willing to love him, comfort him, respect him, and protect him?"
As the mayor spoke, he looked at Uru beside him and asked him again what he had said to Id earlier.
"Of course I'd like to."
Uru nodded and said with a smile.
Then, Uru and Id exchanged rings and put them on the ring fingers of their left hands.
"In that case..."
"As the mayor of this town, I hereby announce the resounding success of Id and Uru's wedding!"
As the town mayor spoke, he led the applause.
"oh!!"
The next second, the cheers of the townspeople shattered the entire sky.
"Uru, congratulations!"
"My wish has finally come true!"
"Id, you listen to me properly!"
"If I find out you dare to treat Uru badly, I'll show you why my fists are so hard!"
Susan kept wiping away tears as she watched her best friend Uru get married. For some reason, she felt empty inside. She took a deep breath, suppressing the turmoil in her heart, and first offered her blessings to her best friend Uru. Then, she turned to Id and said 'fiercely'.
"rest assured."
"I'm sure I'll be reliable."
Ide gave a thumbs-up, indicating that he was very reliable.
"snort."
"The more handsome a guy is, the more likely he is to be a jerk."
"The more innocent-looking a guy is, the more cunning he actually is."
Susan muttered under her breath, keeping a close eye on Id. She would keep an eye on Id for Uru, and keep a close eye on him!
Because neither Ide nor Uru had any other relatives in the town, their marriage was considered finalized with the mayor as their witness.
after marriage.
Id and Uru's married life was basically no different from their life before marriage.
It's still great to fight every day.
Of course, nowadays there's a new activity every night: to "get it all done"!
After the exhilarating battle, add another round of "fighting" to your heart's content.
Id and Uru's lives were quite colorful.
More than half a month later.
"Susan, I've come to find you."
When Uru excitedly arrived in the town from the back mountain, specifically to chat with Susan, he was met with a look of utter resentment from Susan.
"hehe."
"She really does forget her friends once she has a man."
"You used to come and chat with me every week."
"As a result, after we got married, we started going every two weeks."
"If this continues, aren't you afraid you'll forget about me soon?"
Susan looked at Uru with a resentful gaze, like a wronged woman abandoned by a scumbag, and questioned him.
"No!"
"No way!"
I will always be thinking of you.
Uru waved his hand in a flustered manner.
