Chapter 620 Calling the Parents
Chapter 620 Calling the Parents
After hearing Siren call out Voldemort's name, all the sound in Diagon Alley vanished instantly.
Mrs. Malkin, mouth agape and eyes wide with terror, stumbled back into the shop. Sirius Black seemed petrified, while Hagrid frantically pulled at his beard. Even the other swindlers scattered like birds, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
It felt as if Voldemort would descend upon Diagon Alley at any moment and wipe out everyone present.
The horrific scene from their memories resurfaced, and no one was unafraid, not even Narcissa Malfoy, a Death Eater.
Her face was completely bloodless, her knuckles were bluish-white beneath her pale skin, and her body trembled uncontrollably.
"How dare you—how dare you—"
For a moment, Narcissa felt not anger, but a chilling, bone-deep panic. She wanted to escape, and then transfer Draco to another school, away from this madman, as far away as possible.
Siren did not stop them and watched them leave Madam Malkin's Robe Shop.
"Are we just going to let them go like that?" Fred asked, rushing over after hearing the news.
When he and George ran over, they happened to hear Siron shout Voldemort's name in public, along with his villainous statement.
Their bodily instincts made them feel fear, just like everyone else, but the next second, a certain fighting spirit forcibly dispelled that feeling.
Come to think of it, how could Fred and George, who would put up a sign like "Constipation" in their shop window, really be afraid of Voldemort?
"Hey, I remember you told Malfoy on the train that you'd beat him up every time you saw him, right?" George raised an eyebrow beside him.
"But Malfoy was perfectly fine just now."
"Wouldn't you call that—bragging?"
"Shut up, Fred!" Mrs. Weasley said angrily. "If you have nothing else to do, go back to your shops and stop talking nonsense here."
"Hey, Mom, it's me, George." George was a little annoyed. "After all this time, you still can't tell me apart from Fred."
"Whoever you are, hurry back," Mrs. Weasley said anxiously, because she noticed that Hillen was indeed hesitating.
But Fred and George didn't listen to her this time, and continued to stand smiling beside Celen. Their intuition told them that this wasn't over yet.
"Of course I'm not bragging," Xilun said, shaking his head.
"Do you need us to help you catch Malfoy?" Fred volunteered.
"You can't use magic outside of school, but we can," George said. "Catching a Malfoy is no problem."
""
"But you have to pay us," Fred said. "Consider it payment for us."
"Fred!" Mrs. Weasley was even angrier.
"Alright, so how much do you want?" Siren asked. "Two Nats," George said, holding up two fingers. "He's worth that much."
"No, it's too expensive." Siren shook his head. "In fact, just now when they came out of the robe shop, I wrote a letter to my mother, telling her that a month ago, people who wanted to break into the wand shop and kidnap my grandfather appeared."
"If everything goes well, they should have met by now."
Siren glanced in the direction Narcissa Malfoy had left. A faint magical fluctuation emanated from the distance; judging from the direction, it should be in Knockturn Alley.
It seems those two Malfoys aren't in a hurry to leave.
Fred and George exchanged a bewildered glance. They had considered countless possibilities, but never had they imagined that Xiren would do this:
"Call the parents?"
This is truly—
"Well done!"
They both spoke at the same time.
This time, Mrs. Weasley did not stop them because she was still pondering what Hillon had just said.
"Breaking into the wand shop—oh, Merlin's beard, you said they attacked Mr. Ollivander?"
"It was the day I went to the Ministry of Magic," Sirens explained. "They ambushed me in Diagon Alley, along with Bellatrix and Lucius Malfoy."
"I know that," Mrs. Weasley nodded.
"Later, my grandfather told me that before I came back, someone had tried to break into the locked wand shop, but failed. I suppose it was them."
Upon hearing what Hillen said, Mrs. Weasley suddenly realized.
No wonder Celeste targeted Draco Malfoy so much; it makes perfect sense. Malfoy deserved it.
Mrs. Weasley immediately wanted to help, but was stopped by Siron.
"Don't worry, my mom can handle it," he said.
Xilun remembered that Lila also had a transforming lizard skin bag, and it was a real transforming lizard skin bag with much more space inside than his. Later, she transformed it into a small portable greenhouse.
There aren't many plants inside, but there are a few mandrakes, which should be enough to deal with Narcissa Malfoy.
At Hillen's urging, Mrs. Weasley gave up her insistence and went to Gringotts with Bill.
Siren and Harry and the others entered the robe shop.
Mrs. Malkin tried her best to control her emotions, pretending that nothing had happened, and measured the arms of the group.
But it was clear she was nervous and distracted, and she almost sold the wizard's robe to Hermione.
Finally, as she bowed to see Xilun and his party out of the robe shop, she seemed relieved that they had finally left, and then turned around and closed the shop door.
The others hadn't returned yet, so Fred and George invited them to visit the Weasleys Magical Tricks Studio.
"Of course, no problem. That was one of our goals this time," Harry said.
Although he was more curious about how Malfoy was doing, Celen remained silent, and he felt too embarrassed to speak up.
However, going to the Weasleys Wizarding Arts shop first would be the same. He had long been curious about what kind of things were in that shop, but for safety reasons, he was generally not allowed to leave number 12 Grimmauld Place.
Of course, Harry understood the decision.
Besides, Sirius Black was there, along with Ron and Hermione, so he wasn't bored at all.
The two men led them into the shop and let them look around on their own. Harry and his friends were immediately attracted by the various trinkets in the shop.
Xilun wasn't there with them; he'd been here many times before and had long since lost the initial novelty.
While everyone's attention was focused on those joke products, he happened to visit Flip-Over Alley.
By the time Xilun arrived, the battle in the alley was already over—much faster than expected.
The alleyway looked as if it had just been swept by a tornado, with large amounts of garbage and debris scattered haphazardly on the ground. Occasionally, one or two dark wizards could be seen lying unconscious on the ground, but Draco Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy were not among them.
All the shops on both sides of the alley were closed, but Xilun knew very well that there were definitely more than one pair of eyes watching outside from behind those doors.
