Chapter 63 Zombie World - 8
Chapter 63 Zombie World - 8
As time went on, Captain Marvel's power grew stronger and stronger, and she was on the verge of disaster. Vega gritted his teeth and unleashed his ultimate move—calling her parents!
He only used this move once in the dungeon world, and he hasn't used it even once since coming to the Marvel world.
One reason is that deities cannot be easily disturbed, and another is that he is not a devout believer.
That's not the point. The real point is whether Remedios is God, and whether He can respond across worlds. Even Vega doesn't know.
Those previous guesses were just guesses; he really didn't know what the truth was.
There was no other way, so he could only give it a try. He thought it probably wouldn't work, but Remedios actually responded!
That disdainful gaze was all too familiar; he couldn't mistake it!
A character for "can" appeared in his mind, and his entire consciousness was drawn to this magical character. Then, the character "can" guided his consciousness to mobilize a wisp of Phoenix Power and shoot it toward Captain Marvel, who was flying toward him.
This wisp of Phoenix Power was extremely rare; if Vega used it, it could probably only kill a small fish the size of a palm. But after the word "can" passed through its hands, Captain Marvel, who had been hit, was immediately sent flying back, and her entire body rapidly transformed from a zombie back into a normal person.
Igris hovered in mid-air, looking at Captain Marvel lying on the ground quietly undergoing an amazing transformation, and then at Vega in the sky with his eyes closed in a prayer-like posture, his mouth agape in astonishment.
No, bro, are you kidding me? If you're going to use this trick, you should have done it sooner!
Vega paid no attention to anything outside; he was completely absorbed in the realization he had when the word "can" had guided him to mobilize that wisp of phoenix power.
If he could absorb all of it—well, that's impossible—even if he only learned a tiny bit, his strength would increase dramatically.
Time passed slowly, and five minutes later, Captain Marvel suddenly opened her eyes and stood up.
She has returned to normal.
Looking around, she took in the weekend-like scene. She quickly noticed Igris, who was in a defensive posture in mid-air, and Vega above him. Memories from the past flashed through her mind like lightning.
One minute later, having absorbed all the memories, Captain Marvel slowly flew to the opposite side of Igris and thanked her with utmost sincerity, saying, "Thank you for stopping me."
She was terrified. If Igris hadn't appeared and stopped her after she was infected and turned into a zombie, she didn't know what she would have done.
"You're welcome. You should thank that friend more; he's the one who helped you recover." Igoris completely relaxed when he saw that Captain Marvel had truly returned to normal.
Finally, I don't have to fight this monster anymore! That's great!
Captain Marvel looked at Vega: "How much longer does he need to do this?"
Igris shook his head: "I don't know, I don't know him, he just came over by himself."
Captain Marvel: "How's the rest of Earth doing now?"
Iglesias shook his head again. He had been fighting Captain Marvel here the whole time; how could he possibly know what was happening outside?
"I know." A deep male voice came from below. The two looked down and saw a black man carrying a sword and dressed in ancient Eastern white clothing walk out of the darkness.
The two landed, and Igris looked into the black man's pupil-less, silvery-white eyes, tentatively asking, "Are you an emissary of Khonsu, the Egyptian moon god?"
"Yes, I am Eric Brooks, the Blade. Greetings, you two gods among men." The Blade placed his right hand on his left chest and bowed to the two.
"Hello," the two replied to him, neither of them reacting to Blade's address of them as gods among men.
Igris and his companions have lived on Earth for tens of thousands of years. Over the years, most of the humans who accidentally discovered their battles with the abnormal races have called them gods, and he has long been used to it.
Captain Marvel goes without saying; many of the weaker civilizations she shelters in the universe also regard her as their guardian deity.
Captain Marvel asked, "What's going on now?"
Blade: "All national governments collapsed long ago, and there are probably only about 500,000 survivors worldwide."
"So little?!"
"Are there still so many?"
"So few" was said by Captain Marvel, and the following sentence was said by Vega as he fell down.
Upon sensing the presence of strangers, Vega, whose perception and analysis were extremely slow, stopped.
Vega said pointedly, "One of the S.H.I.E.L.D. pilots said there might be less than 200,000 survivors, but you know there are more than 500,000. It seems you know the global situation better than they do."
"These are what the moon goddess told me," Blade explained calmly, then bowed to Vega: "It's a pleasure to meet you, Seraphim from another world."
"I am equally pleased to see you all. I am Vega Lee, a four-winged seraphim as he says." Vega nodded to the four people.
Yes, four people, because Blade's body contains a portion of the spiritual power of the Moon God Kong Su.
"Hello, I'm Igris. Thank you for helping me."
"Hello, I'm Carol Danvers. Thank you for saving me."
"You're welcome. There's a reason I'm helping you." Vega briefly explained his purpose in coming to this world and the information he had gathered: "To rewrite history and erase the outbreak of the quantum virus, I need to eliminate all powerful sources of interference."
As far as I know, there are two things that can interfere with me: one is Wanda, the Scarlet Witch who has become the Queen of the Dead, and the other is Wakanda, whose situation is unknown.
I need to go to Wakanda. Can you come with me?
Before Igris and Captain Marvel could speak, Blade interjected, "I know about the situation in Wakanda."
Vega raised an eyebrow: "Really? Could you elaborate?"
"Of course," Blade nodded, then said, "Thanos, who turned into a zombie, died, but the six Infinity Stones exploded."
To save Earth and the universe, Hulk sacrificed himself, becoming a vessel for the power of the Infinity Stones.
The Queen of the Dead has been watching this power closely. She commands countless armies of zombies outside Wakanda, waiting to accumulate enough power to defeat the Hulk before taking action.
"Don't tell me she's already amassed enough power." Vega's face stiffened. He really didn't want such a melodramatic plot to happen, or he would really start cursing!
Blade continued in a calm tone, "Not yet, but Kong Su told me that the Queen of the Dead went to New Asgard after dark."
"*! Why didn't you say so sooner?!" Vega cursed, waving his hand to open a spark portal...
