Kenichi Uesugi walked silently inside like a ghost. The environment didn't seem to affect him at all; in fact, he seemed quite at ease.
He pressed himself against the wall, the deep darkness unable to obstruct his vision, and a door appeared before him.
He held his breath and gently pulled the door open. Luckily, the door wasn't so rotten that it made a jarring sound.
There was a passageway in front of us, with only one path to walk on, and walls on both sides.
The path wasn't long; it was only about 20 meters before Uesugi Kenichi reached the end.
He looked up and saw another wall, meaning this was a room with only one exit.
"This shouldn't be happening," Uesugi Kenichi muttered, looking around as he gently traced the patterns on the wall with his fingers.
He walked softly, then stopped when he stepped on a certain spot, and his eyes suddenly lit up.
It's empty underneath!
Kenichi Uesugi fumbled to move a grid template aside, and a square pull-ring iron door appeared before his eyes.
"Looks like something incredible is hidden down there." Uesugi Kenichi smiled, showing no fear whatsoever.
With a gentle pull of his hand gripping the iron ring, he lifted the door from below, revealing a staircase leading deep into the darkness before him.
The open opening and the boundless darkness below resembled a monster waiting to devour its prey.
Kenichi Uesugi crouched down at the top of the stairs and looked down. Judging from the dust left on the stairs, people often passed by here.
He narrowed his eyes, took out a dagger from his sleeve, braced himself on the roof, tensed his muscles, and flipped inside like a nimble ape.
Silent and stealthy, like a ghost.
Chapter 154 There is no life more cruel than humankind.
The staircase wasn't long; after walking down about 10 meters, four houses appeared.
He carefully looked around and, finding nothing amiss, breathed a slight sigh of relief. He took out his phone, turned on the flashlight, and pushed open the door to the first house on his left.
Using the light, he went inside and carefully looked around the entire house.
The room was filled with all sorts of blood-stained surgical instruments, just like a very rudimentary operating room.
However, this operating room was clearly not up to standard; even an unlicensed clinic might not be this bad.
There were even cigarette butts on the ground.
He had some guesses in his mind, so he went out and came to the second house on the left.
He only glanced at it before leaving. It was a storage room with two beds in the corner where two men were sleeping. They must have been the staff on duty.
He pushed open the door to the second room on the right and went inside. It was like a factory workshop, with a long table in the middle and packets of white powder on it.
Kenichi Uesugi stepped forward and touched the powdery substance. This was clearly not flour!
He knew what it was without even looking closely.
Without touching these things, Uesugi Kenichi took a deep breath and left.
Finally, he focused his gaze on the first room on his right, took a deep breath, and pushed the door open.
A breeze seemed to blow by, and Uesugi Kenichi felt a chill on his head, as a putrid smell entered his nostrils.
Except for the side closest to the door, the other three sides of the room are lined with tall cabinets.
Suddenly, a terrible thought surged into his mind!
Kenichi Uesugi strode forward and pulled open one of the cabinets.
Wow!
A sliding sound rang out, and a corpse appeared before his eyes on the cabinet!
Kenichi Uesugi's pupils suddenly contracted, his scalp tingled, and he stared incredulously at the corpse before him.
Judging by his age, the corpse in front of him was only about 8 or 9 years old. His chest was sunken, his internal organs were gone, and his eyes were missing. It was as if a huge black hole was silently watching Uesugi Kenichi.
It seems like they are constantly accusing him!
Uesugi Kenichi was stunned for a moment, as if something was blocking his heart, making him feel frightened.
He trembled as he reached out and gently stroked the face of the beautiful girl before him, a chilling sensation spreading to his fingertips.
He acted as if he hadn't heard anything, gently smoothed the girl's withered hair, and then pushed the cabinet back.
Wow wow wow!
Kenichi Uesugi opened an entire row of cabinets, and all of them were filled with corpses, mostly children!
Uesugi Kenichi trembled and took a few steps back. All the valuable items on the corpses in front of him had been completely looted!
His eyes burned with fire, his hands were clenched tightly, and the veins on his arms bulged with blood.
Gradually, it transformed into an eternal glacier, emanating a chill that seemed capable of freezing everything in the world.
Uesugi Kenichi leaned back and gagged, his face contorting in pain.
It's not because I'm disgusted.
Moreover, I was so sad that I couldn't breathe, so sad that I felt nauseous.
"There is no life form more cruel than humans in this world."
He slumped to the ground, vomiting a question that seemed to test his very soul.
The scene before him was simply unacceptable to him as a human being; even the scenes of hell did not evoke as much sorrow and fear in him as this.
Fear of being human, fear of those who should not be treated this way.
He looked up and saw countless children who couldn't even find their way, wandering aimlessly in this world like lost souls.
He picked up a half-smoked cigarette from the ground, lit it, took a deep drag, and slumped down on the ground, seemingly lost in thought.
I only came to my senses after feeling a burning sensation on my hand.
Uesugi Kenichi stubbed out his cigarette and threw it outside. He picked up a broom and swept the room spotlessly. After bowing to the three walls, he gently closed the door and left.
The movements were very gentle, as if afraid of disturbing the sleeping people.
He returned to the room containing the white flour, found a black bag, put all the harmful substances inside, then left the abandoned warehouse and buried it somewhere.
Finally, he arrived at the storeroom and stared into it with emotionless eyes, like a ghost hidden in the night.
Kenichi Uesugi walked gently to the bedside, and his fair hands slowly reached out and grabbed the necks of the two men.
"Woo!"
The two people who were asleep were suddenly awakened and were about to shout when they found that their throats were tightly locked, and even breathing was a luxury, let alone shouting!
· ·Requesting flowers· ········
Uesugi Kenichi grabbed the two men by the neck, dragging them like two dead dogs into the room filled with corpses.
boom!
The two were thrown to the ground by Uesugi Kenichi.
"Who are you!" One of them gasped for breath, clutching his neck, and stared at Uesugi Kenichi with a terrified look.
"What do you want to do?" another person questioned. "Don't you know this is our Pine Leaf Society's territory? How dare you come here? Are you looking for death?"
Seeing that it was only Uesugi Kenichi, the man felt a little relieved; just a moment ago, he felt as if he had encountered a ghost.
Uesugi Kenichi ignored their questions and walked straight over. The dagger in his hand, gleaming with a cold light, made a whooshing sound in the air, and two streams of blood spurted out.
...... .. 0
"Ahhh!" The two screamed in pain, clutching their thighs.
Blood flowed continuously, like a flowing river, seemingly unstoppable, as the two knives were clearly cut into the arteries of their thighs.
"Don't be afraid. I'll ask you questions, and you answer them. If you delay, I won't be responsible if you bleed out." Uesugi Kenichi looked at the two with a kind smile.
However, to these two people, that smile seemed like the devil.
"We'll tell you everything! Please spare our lives."
"The first question is, where did you get all these children from?"
“Some of them are homeless children, some are abducted, and some are given to us by people who owe us money.”
"Very good, I'm satisfied with that answer. Now, the second question: how many of these children you've abducted are still here, and where are they?"
The two men exchanged a glance, and one of them, clutching his leg in fear, said, "We really don't know. We're just on duty here. We don't have the authority. Please, let me go."
Uesugi Kenichi ignored their pleas for mercy. "Third question: Have you seen the girl in the photo?"
As he spoke, he took out his phone and placed it in front of the two people inside.
After looking at it, the two shook their heads. "We haven't seen it before. We've been here for a month, and I'm sure we haven't seen it."
Upon hearing this, Uesugi Kenichi breathed a sigh of relief.
Chapter 155 Going to kill!
"Now, one last question: when you talked about these things, did you feel scared or regretful?"
“Yes, yes, I have always regretted doing these things. I can’t sleep well, and I keep having nightmares when I do fall asleep. Really, believe me, if I hadn’t been forced, I would have left long ago. Please, please let us go.”
The two kept begging for mercy.
"Alright, I'm very satisfied with your response. I'll stop the bleeding for you now." Uesugi Kenichi smiled warmly, his words brimming with confidence.
Upon seeing Uesugi Kenichi's expression, the two looked on with surprise and repeatedly kowtowed in gratitude.
Kenichi Uesugi kept his word and took out gauze from another room to bandage their wounds.
"Thank you. We will never dare to do such a thing again. Hirakawa and Kensuke Nishioka are utterly inhuman. They forced us to do it all because of '620'."
"You're welcome, it's what I should do," said Kenichi Uesugi, opening two empty cabinets.
"Gudong!"
"What are you doing?!" The two had just breathed a sigh of relief when they saw Uesugi Kenichi's actions and were immediately terrified.
"It's nothing. Didn't you say you couldn't sleep well? I'll help you get a good night's sleep."
Upon hearing Uesugi Kenichi's devilish words, the two of them, ignoring their leg injuries, scrambled towards the door.
