"King? What a strange title..."
Zoro, clutching his sword, was struck in the heart by Norton's unabashedly childish aura.
"That's the right way to call it!" Norton decided.
The others could only try to appease them.
"Okay, King."
Norton nodded in satisfaction. "Alright! That's all for now! Meeting adjourned!"
He needs to figure out what the pirate flag should look like as soon as possible. As a symbol of the team's spirit, it must be representative enough!
For example, the flag of the Beasts Pirates uses Kaido's demon horn as a distinguishing feature.
The redhead is a skull with three scars.
"Funing, please stay here and give me some advice."
"I'll get back to work now! I haven't watered the tree I transplanted from the orange grove yet!" Nami patted her bottom and got up.
"I'm going to cultivate."
"Me too."
Sanosuke and Zoro spoke in turn.
Since Zoro joined the crew, the two have been at odds. Zoro has repeatedly tried to challenge Norton, but each time he has been thwarted by Sanosuke.
Sasuke stated that Zoro was not qualified to challenge Norton until he defeated him.
The two fought many times, neither willing to concede, and neither could determine a winner.
Sasuke's fighting style is too steady, almost to the point of being sneaky. Zoro can never find a chance to win and is mostly exhausted.
The meeting room was suddenly left with only Norton and Funing, who discussed the matter in depth and came up with several solutions.
The first design featured a skull and crossbones flag with Norton's silver hair as a striking feature.
Unfortunately, Norton rejected it, saying that "drawing hair on a skull is too unconventional."
The second option is a skull with a fist pattern at the bottom.
Too monotonous, still a pass.
The third design is inspired by chess, using the king piece as the base design and adding a horizontal scepter to form a cross shape. On top of this cross is the silver skull representing Norton.
Norton liked the plan very much and approved it.
The next part, drawing the flag, had nothing to do with Norton; it was entirely left to the shipwright, Miss Funing.
After issuing the orders, Norton returned to the captain's cabin to rest.
Meanwhile, in a sea area not far from the White Pearl.
"Boom!"
Amidst the roar of cannons, a pirate ship flying the cat skull pirate flag attacked a branch warship.
Monka clutched his injured forehead, staggered to his feet, and the axe in his hand had never felt so heavy!
Everything before my eyes was blood red. Through my blurred vision, I saw the face of a refined-looking man wearing gold-rimmed glasses.
"Still not down?" The man adjusted his fallen glasses with his palm, saying with some distress, "Zango, it's your turn. Hypnotize him!"
"Yes, Captain Crowe!" the man wearing heart-shaped sunglasses and a fisherman's hat replied immediately.
As the two rings dangled and swayed in front of Monka's eyes, Monka gradually became drowsy.
"Listen, you've captured Captain Kuro of the Black Cat Pirates... You've captured Captain Kuro of the Black Cat Pirates..."
Zango led the hypnotized Monka to the scapegoat that Kro had prepared beforehand, who was tied to a pillar.
"That's Captain Kuro! After we leave, kill him and tell the World Government that Captain Kuro is dead!"
The real Kro watched quietly from the side, nodding in satisfaction.
He, Kuro, the captain of the Black Cat Pirates, had long been tired of the life of fighting and killing!
Since the bounty was placed on him, the navy has been relentlessly pursuing him, killing one batch only to have another emerge, which is incredibly annoying.
Kro was tired of this kind of life and planned to use this faked death to disappear completely from the Navy's sight and escape the endless pursuit.
He wants to live a peaceful and wealthy retirement!
Therefore, he needs a new identity.
We also need a sum of money that has a clean origin and will not be questioned.
Kro has already figured out what to do; all he needs to do is continue executing the plan!
Faking his death at Monca's hands was the first step in the plan.
As he thought about it, Kro wiped the blood off the claw knife with a handkerchief.
Suddenly, he saw a white three-masted sailboat slowly approaching from the distant sea.
"Hmm?" Chloe adjusted her glasses and looked closely.
It was a giant ship, hundreds of meters long, with a low hull and a statue of a girl holding a bird at the bow.
"We've been caught," Chloe sighed regretfully. "Looks like we'll have to silence them."
If his plans are discovered by others, his dream will be impossible to realize.
And such a big ship looks very valuable.
Before retiring from the gold mine, Clooney wouldn't mind making one more fortune.
"Boogie! Sam! Bring the boat closer!"
"Understood, Captain!"
Nami looked out from the observation deck and spotted a pirate ship with a cat skull flag heading towards the White Pearl.
"Hey! Zoro! A ship is approaching!" Nami shook Zoro awake from his sleep.
"Huh? Is that so?"
Zoro pulled off his blindfold and brought it close to the binoculars.
"It really is! That looks like the Black Cat Pirates' ship! Captain 'Hundred Strategies' Kuro has a bounty of 1600 million Berries!"
As a bounty hunter, Zoro was well aware of this information. To him, such heads were a fortune, enough for many drinks.
"They've even brought their ship closer? That's good! Looks like we're not so unlucky after all." Zoro chuckled upon noticing the Black Cat Pirates approaching.
"You call this a good thing? We ran into pirates!" Nami couldn't help but complain. "It's unlucky no matter how you look at it, even though we're pirates too."
"Norton was just looking for them, and they just walked right into our lives. Isn't that a good thing?" Zoro grinned.
"I'll go inform Norton!" Nami was about to climb down from the observation deck.
"Wait!" Zoro stopped Nami. "Don't call them! Let me handle them!"
Zoro wasn't going to let this rare opportunity to practice slip by. He'd been sparring with Sanosuke for the past few days, and he was thoroughly disgusted by him.
He desperately needs a punching bag to vent his frustration!
On the Black Cat Pirates' ship.
"Captain Crowe! No! It looks like someone jumped over from that ship!" Sam said.
"Not one! There are two! And there's a ninja too!" Buji said.
Two figures landed one after the other on the deck of the Black Cat Pirates' ship.
"You cold-blooded ninja, what are you doing following me here?" Zoro glanced at Sanosuke.
Sanosuke didn't look at Zoro, but instead swept his cold gaze across the faces of the pirates on the deck.
"Don't kill them, my lord... King meant to subdue these pirates and make them work for us." Sanosuke took out a kunai.
"If you apply too much pressure, it won't work."
Zoro drew his sword and sneered, "Don't try to teach me anything! You're not worthy!"
The conversation between the two angered the Black Cat Pirates, especially those standing between Buchi and Sam.
"Don't underestimate us! We're the cat-people brothers!"
Kro adjusted his glasses: "Looks like there's someone overconfident on their ship... Catmen brothers, kill them! When I get back, I want to see two corpses!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Chloe disappeared from the spot.
"So fast!" Zoro looked up and saw the afterimage of Kuro left in the air.
Sanosuke's pupils contracted as he tried to catch up with Kuro and return to the White Pearl!
But Sam stopped him.
"Don't even think about escaping! You damned ninja!"
