Chapter 104 Roronoa Zoro!

Picking up where we left off, Luffy and Coby inexplicably ended up on a small boat with Goten and escaped the sinking cruise ship together. After the three calmed down, Goten asked them, "Speaking of which, who are you two?"

Upon hearing this, Luffy immediately introduced himself: "I am Monkey D. Luffy! The man who will become the Pirate King!"

Coby then introduced himself, "I'm Coby! My dream is to become a Marine!"

Upon hearing this, Wutian's brain went blank for a moment, and he asked with certainty, "You two... one wants to be a thief... the other wants to be an official... what, are you trying to have connections in both the legitimate and criminal worlds?!"

Coby felt embarrassed upon hearing this, but Luffy nonchalantly said, "What does it matter? Don't worry about it... Don't worry about it... By the way, who are you anyway?"

Goten then suggested, "Speaking of which, that fat woman mentioned a pirate hunter named Roronoa Zoro. He sounds pretty awesome. Want to go check him out? I heard he's nearby!"

Upon hearing this, Luffy immediately became interested: "Oh! Let's go take a look then, let's go."

So the three of them arrived at the naval base, and as they walked, they discussed what Zoro looked like. Strangely, whenever Goten and Luffy mentioned Zoro's name, the people in the town would panic and back away.

Goten was speechless at the sight. However, when Coby mentioned Colonel Morgan in the town, people were once again frightened and took several steps back. After careful observation, Goten discovered that people retreated a little further than Zoro when they heard Morgan's name.

So, to find out what was going on, the three of them went to the Marine base where Zoro was being held. They lay down outside and observed him. Looking at the pirate hunter tied to a wooden frame, Goten asked doubtfully, "Strange, is that the fearsome pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro? He doesn't seem that impressive."

Goten's words were quickly overheard by Zoro, who then snapped, "Where did this brat come from! Get out of my way! You're annoying to look at..."

The three were still observing when a ladder appeared next to them. A little girl climbed the ladder, looked around, and then jumped into the base. She ran to Zoro, took out two rice balls she had prepared, and tried to feed them to him, saying, "This is the first time I've made this. I hope you like it."

But Zoro ruthlessly chased him away, saying, "Get out of my way, I don't need you, you're in my way."

Just then, a blond man walked out from the side, leading two sailors, and said mockingly, "It's not good to bully children..." As he spoke, he picked up a rice ball, but after taking a bite, he found it too sweet and angrily threw the girl's other rice ball to the ground, stomping on it wildly...

Upon seeing this, the girl burst into tears. At that moment, the blond man ordered his men, "Throw her out!" The navy men were shocked, but the blond man continued, "What are you standing there for? Believe me, I'll get my dad to deal with you!"

After saying that, the girl was thrown out. Goten easily caught her outside. After the blond man and his men left, Luffy went straight to Zoro and said, "You're really strong, aren't you? But why are you tied up here?"

Zoro retorted, "None of your business!"

Luffy continued, "If it were me, I wouldn't be able to stand it for three days."

Zoro said smugly, "Of course, my willpower is no joke. I will survive, just you wait and see."

Upon hearing this, Luffy was about to leave when Zoro said, "Wait a minute, pick that up and give it to me..."

However, Goten then came up to Zoro, picked up the rice ball, and asked, "It's already full of sand, are you sure you want to eat it?"

Upon seeing this, Zoro exclaimed in surprise, "Where did you come from! But never mind, just give me the rice ball!"

Seeing this, Goten had no choice but to feed the rice ball to Zoro. After Zoro ate it and coughed twice, he smiled slightly and said, "It's really delicious!"

After relaying Zoro's praise to the little girl, Goten and the others learned the truth from her. It turned out that three weeks ago, Zoro had bumped into Morgan's son, Helmeppo, in order to protect the little girl, and in return, he promised to be kidnapped in place of the girl's family for a month.

However, when Luffy and his friends followed the girl to her restaurant, they heard Belmebo laughing loudly, saying, "Hahaha... you stupid pirate hunters, just you wait and see, I'll execute that guy tomorrow!"

Upon hearing Helmeppo's words, Luffy instantly appeared beside him and knocked him to the ground with a single punch, yelling, "You bastard! You broke your promise!" However, a frightened Coby stopped Luffy, reminding him, "Calm down, Mr. Luffy. This is a Marine base, don't cause trouble..."

However, Luffy pointed ahead and asked, "So it's okay for Goten to be there wiping that guy's face while he's scrubbing the floor?"

Upon hearing this, Coby looked closely and indeed saw Goten frantically rubbing Helmeppo. He exclaimed in surprise, "I didn't expect you to have such thick skin. It hasn't broken even after rubbing for so long..."

Seeing Goten's actions become even more outrageous, Coby's brain went blank for a moment, and he didn't know what to do. It wasn't until Goten had had his fun that he tossed Helmeppo to his subordinates. Goten turned around and saw that Luffy had already left, and instantly understood what Luffy was thinking.

Luffy ignored Zoro and continued, "Aren't you also known as the evil pirate hunter? So join me. By the way, aren't you a swordsman? Where's your sword?"

Zoro replied, "That stupid navy son took it."

So Luffy decisively proposed, "Then I'll help you get your sword back. If you want it back, join my pirate crew." Without waiting for Zoro's agreement, he immediately went to find Zoro's sword...

However, Luffy's search for the sword was too loud, which alerted Colonel Morgan. Morgan then decisively led his men to execute Zoro. Zoro realized that the other party intended to break their promise. Just as the Marines were about to fire, Goten appeared in front of Zoro in a flash and caught all the Marines' bullets with his bare hands. This action left both the Marines and Zoro in disbelief.

At this moment, Luffy also found Zoro's sword and arrived at the execution ground, puzzled, "Strange? Goten, when did you get here..." But the next second he turned to Zoro and asked, "Which sword is yours? I couldn't tell, so I brought all three..."

Zoro replied, "All three are mine. Stop talking nonsense and give me the swords."

Seeing this, Morgan immediately ordered the Marines to charge forward. Because they were afraid of Morgan, the Marines had no choice but to rush forward. Goten saw this and only threw a few punches, which knocked down all the weak Marines.

At this moment, Zoro also successfully untied himself, equipped with three swords, and said to Goten, "Hey, kid, wait a minute, leave that guy to me, I want to settle the score with him properly."

Upon hearing this, Morgan flew into a rage, brandishing his axe and charging at Zoro. Zoro, however, stood with his hands crossed, a white longsword in his mouth, and roared, "Demon Slash!" A swift and ferocious slash instantly knocked Morgan unconscious, killing him instantly...

After resolving the trouble, Zoro said to Luffy, "I'm going to become the world's greatest swordsman. If you don't have a greater goal than that, I won't acknowledge you as my captain..."

Upon hearing this, Luffy laughed loudly and said, "Of course! I'm going to be the Pirate King!"

Zoro was relieved to hear this, but the next second he suddenly lay down on the ground and said, "I'm hungry!"
