"What? Are you worried about money?" Ji Chuan smiled at Yan Huan, "Rest assured, even if I spend all my savings, there’s no problem at all with supporting you in the future."

"Who needs your support?" Yan Huan gave him a big eye roll, "I am an independent woman. Why would I need a man to support me? Besides, I have a stipend!"

Carrying a bunch of stuff back to the compound, squeezing onto a bus was too troublesome, so it’s better to hail a taxi.

There were quite a few people hailing taxis on Saturday, and several cars passed by already carrying passengers.

In the distance, another taxi drove over and stopped not far from them.

Yan Huan pulled Ji Chuan and hurriedly ran over. They finally found a car dropping off passengers and couldn’t miss it.

"Let’s go. The family is probably waiting impatiently." Yan Huan didn’t want Ji Chuan and Qiu Xinyi to talk more, so she decisively interrupted their conversation.

"Okay." Ji Chuan opened the taxi door and put their things in the car first.

"My father’s condition seems to be worsening compared to before. I’m thinking of bringing him over to your place for another examination, see if you can arrange surgery for him."
