Chapter 693: The Danger is Averted

At this moment, Tang San's forehead radiated with golden light, and with that touch of blue glow, it made him appear as if a true deity had descended.

Within that vast blue radiance, every sea beast could clearly feel the boundlessness of the sea, and before them stood the master of this infinity!

The Sea Walrus King had already bowed down earlier, and so had the Sea Leopard King. Now, under his words, one by one, the kings slowly bowed down, facing Tang San.

Each of them could sense the terrifying scene of the lightning tribulation descending from the sky.

A hint of complexity flickered in Tang San's eyes.

He was not one to speak lightly; when he summoned the leaders of the sea clans today, he had made two preparations. It would be ideal if the sea clans could all support him, but if a situation like this arose, with over a hundred god-level beings gathered, including several Great Sea Kings, he could forcibly borrow their power when the lightning tribulation descended, turning them into part of the defense against the tribulation to help him cross it.

Yes, this was one of the possible methods he had for crossing the tribulation, and in fact the best one in a sense—it gave him almost perfect certainty to succeed. For Tang San himself, if he could successfully cross the tribulation early, it would undoubtedly be a tremendous help. The Endless Blue Sea was vast and had a nigh-infinite number of lives; once he reached godhood, he could rely on the immense faith power of the sea to enhance himself. When heading to the Ancestral Court, his foundation would be many times deeper.

But if he used this method, then of the many sea beasts present, fewer than one in ten would survive. How long it would take for the sea clans to recover after such a massive loss was anybody’s guess.@@@@

And in the end, he couldn’t do it. In the end, his heart softened. In the end, even when forced by the combined pressure of the Sea Dragon King, the Middle Pillar King, and the Mermaid Queen, he triggered the lightning tribulation to resolve the crisis but ultimately did not let it fully descend.

At this very moment, high in the sky, the oppression of the lightning tribulation was still fierce, but under cover of that blue halo, everyone below was completely safe. Thanks to this shield, the sea beasts present gradually regained their ability to move. However, the force that had just descended upon them like a natural disaster left them all feeling short of breath.

How could they not understand? If that lightning tribulation had been allowed to descend, everything present would have been obliterated.

However, this move could only be used on the Endless Blue Sea. Without the power of the sea, the effectiveness of the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud was limited. After all, the Sea God’s Trident wasn't by Tang San's side.

Even when the tribulation clouds completely dissipated, Tang San only slowly retracted the range of the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, keeping it around himself. The aura he had previously released now had to be gradually restrained; only by completely leaving this area could he avoid the tribulation from finding him again.

Returning to Crescent Island, under the cover of the blue radiance, Tang San looked at the sea clan leaders, each with a complex expression on their face. "I will now need to trouble you all to help with the migration of my human race. To prevent the tribulation from returning, I must enter seclusion and seal my aura. Also please handle the Sea Plague as soon as possible. I have crafted plenty of Sea God Array discs, so I will trust you with the distribution."

As he spoke, he tossed out more Sea God Array discs, giving them to all the Sea Kings present. The reason he hadn't distributed them earlier was that he needed them to help trigger the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud.

Tang San's own capacity for divine consciousness was currently limited, but these array discs each stored a portion of his divine consciousness. By releasing and triggering this consciousness, Tang San could control more of his own divine consciousness, thereby unleashing even greater power.

"Thank you, Divine Envoy!" At this moment, the clan leaders had no choice but to accept, as there was no other option. After all, no one wanted to die! Moreover, Tang San could help them solve the Sea Plague, and that was more than they could have ever expected from anyone.

The Sea Shark King stood toward the back, a look of disdain on his face as he thought to himself, Where was all this groveling before? Good thing I saw it coming! Clinging to his thigh was the right move. Once he breaks through to godhood, even the strongest Great Sea Kings won't be able to match him. In this Endless Blue Sea, he will be the true ruler. And I... hehe.

Under the cover of the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, Tang San stepped into the teleportation array. No one dared to obstruct him anymore. A ball of seven-colored flames rose, and within the flames, a twisted halo silently emerged, instantly lighting up the entire teleportation array.

The Sea Kings vaguely saw that within the seven-colored flames on Tang San’s palm, a strange, twisted halo was being released. It appeared to be a crystalline orb emitting strange light, and its energy waves were incredibly mysterious. There seemed to be fluctuations of space, as well as changes in time. In the next instant, Tang San vanished into thin air.

As his figure disappeared, the last trace of the extremely violent lightning tribulation in the sky above also dissipated.
