Chapter 1
1 God Cat Mii-chan, the god’s pet.
Something rough is stroking my cheek. What could it be?
When I opened my eyes and looked around, a kitten was licking my face.
Huh? What happened to me? And where is this?
“You seem to have awakened.”
A beautiful woman spoke to me. She was dressed very casually, but it suited her well. She looked neither Western nor Eastern, but rather a mysterious woman.

“Oh no, I just spoke my thoughts.”

“Then why am I here?”
“A cute kitten you helped is my retainer and also my pet.”

According to the god, while she wasn’t looking, the kitten ventured into the mortal realm without permission. The kitten is the god’s retainer but still small and hasn’t undergone serious training. However, being a retainer of the god means it’s immortal and never ages. So, this kitten will remain in its cutest form forever. I wonder what the main cat thinks, but I envy the god for sure.
“Is that so? You seem to be getting a little flustered.”
“May I correct you? Even if you hadn’t helped that kitten, it wouldn’t have died. It might have suffered a bit, but it got into the box and went down the river by itself, so it’s its own fault!”
“Is that so? You silly.”
“Mii~”
I gently poked the kitten’s forehead, and it made a surprised face, standing up and skillfully swaying its hips. What a calculated cuteness!

“W-What would that be?”
“Since I’d rather not die right away, could I get some useful abilities first? Does that world have magic or something?”

I think map skills are necessary since I have a pretty poor sense of direction. I thought that combat skills would also be needed, so I chose archery skills.
