As Corey came to the terrifying conclusion that the Queen, Vaerina, was most likely giving birth to the abominations and Goliathspawns, he saw his Master and Melissa glance at him with narrowed and suspicious eyes, and he could not help but give a wry smile.

Corey shifted his gaze to Vaerina, and when he gazed into her eyes, he could sense the desire and hunger in her eyes. To Corey's horror, his Paragon senses along with the senses of his Cosmic Soul also perceived lust in Vaerina's eyes.
Corey could not help but take a step back when he sensed this, and for a moment, he almost failed to stop himself from vomiting.

Vaerina tilted her head to the side, and a baffled expression appeared on her face. "Why... won't you?"
"Because I don't want to get fucking... devoured?" Corey raised his hands in a gesture that said- 'Isn't it fucking obvious?'
Vaerina blinked, and then she glanced at Melissa and Old Man Poison for a second before shifting her gaze back at Corey.
"If you didn't... come to get devoured... so that I can be cured... why did you now... come?"
Corey blinked, and then a bizarre thought came to his mind.
"Why do you need to be cured? Is there anything wrong with you?"
'Luck is on our side. Because of the strange state of the Power, I have a way to kill this abomination or if it doesn't kill it, it would severely weaken it and then we'll be able to kill it with our strongest skills.'
Corey's eyes brightened in delight and surprise as he stared at his Master, and when his Master saw the joy, surprise, and relief in his eyes, Old Man Poison scowled, and his hands moved.

Old Man Poison smacked Corey's head with his staff, and Corey cursed with visible anger in his voice.

Corey looked at Vaerina, and then he saw three water spears hovering in the air in front of her. Although he had seen the water spears before his Master warned him of the attack because of the bird's eye view of his Eyes of Omniscience, he dared not to tell his Master this or he would get another smack on his head.
'You'll pay for all that you... said."
Vaerina said, and then she waved her snow-white right hand.
The water spears moved at an extremely fast speed, and in the blink of an eye, Corey, Melissa, and Old Man Poison saw a water spear appear in front of them.
Melissa's body moved like that of a snake, and she was able to narrowly dodge the water spear.
Old Man Poison transformed into a poisonous mist, and the spear went through his poisonous mist form, leaving a hole in it as it travelled far into the distance.
The poisonous mist twisted and churned a few times before transforming back to Old Man Poison. Although he was fine and without any external injuries, his pale face and trembling hand signified that he had not dodged the Queen's attack without any cost.
Meanwhile, Corey was not taken aback or frightened by the speed of the attack. He had been expecting such an attack, and with his experience in his battles against the Capra King and Aethara, he was not surprised by how fast the attack was.
In fact, because of his past battles, he realized that the attack was not as fast and powerful as the Capra King's and Aethara's.
Multiple hexagon barriers appeared in front of the water spear, and without waiting to see the result, he teleported far away from the path of the water spear.
