Mrs. Brockett graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelors of Science degree in Home Economics Education on 1984. She taught in Idaho for three years before completing a Master of Education degree from Idaho State University in 1988. In 1989 she was hired by Pocatello/Chubbuck School District #25 to create an alternate school for pregnant and parenting teens. Several years later she was asked to combine all of the alternative programs in the district. For three years she served as the administrator over four different alternative programs and over 300 students. In 2008 Sheryl was selected as the principal of Century High School where she remains at this time.
Mr. Anderson was born and raised in Pocatello attending Washington Elementary, Franklin Jr. High and graduated from Pocatello High in 1983. He signed a professional baseball contract in 1984 and played a year with the Pocatello Gems of the Pioneer league. After he got his unconditional release from the Gems, he received his under graduate degree in 1988 in Elementary Education from ISU and taught 11 years as a 4th grade teacher at Chubbuck Elementary. Anderson was hired as the Principal at Holy Spirit Catholic School and was there for 7 years. During that time he earned a Masters’ degree in Physical Education Athletic Administration from ISU. He was hired as the Principal at Tyhee Elementary and served there two years. He was then hired to become Athletic Director at Century High School where he is currently employed. Anderson has two incredible children Liz and Zac. He enjoys golfing, spending time in the outdoors and collecting sports memorabilia as a hobby.
Mr. Ross has been an Assistant Principal at Century for the past four years. He was raised in Richfield, Idaho and graduated from the College of Southern Idaho in 1974. After working in the private business sector, he went back to college. In 1984, he graduated from Idaho State University and began his career in Education. He was hired by School District 25 to teach at the alternative middle school here in Pocatello. After 7 years at the alternative school, Mr. Ross moved to teach at Irving. It was at Irving that Mr. Ross moved out of the classroom and into the position of Assistant Principal. He has served as an administrator for a total of 17 years, 8 years as a Principal and 9 years as an Assistant Principal. Mr. Ross brings a total of 27 years of experience in Education and is fully committed to the success of students at Century.
